China is the biggest producer of tobacco in the world. It produces even more tobacco than other 7 biggest countries together. Although tobacco grows in more than 100 countries, the first 25 producers cover already 90% of the world production. In 1994 there were 55 billion cigarettes produced in the World, from this more than a half in China, the USA, Japan and Germany.

I agree alikat. No one else gets a news report when they enter rehab. You should be doing it for yourself not to impress or get attention from others.

I know what you're talking about. I would much rather show up somewhere with a Starbucks rather than a generic cup of coffee. Why do we do silly things like that? I bet it would save so much money if you stopped going for a month. They can get rather pricey.

I noticed lately that if I'm on the phone while the TV is on I totally ignore the person on the phone so I don't miss any of the dialogue on TV. How bad is that? The people on the phone get mad too, but I can't help it.

Speaking of Britney, have you heard about her moms new book she is coming out with called Through the Storm? In the book she talks about her daughter's drug abuse and sex life. She claims that her daughter lost her virginity at 14 and got caught doing drugs like cocaine and marijuana at 15. I guess it wasn't a surprise to her then when Britney started going downhill. Her mother knew about this I don't think she got her the help she needed then and know it's like all her problems escalated and she didn't know how to handle them so she turned to drugs and alcohol.

I totally know what you're saying. I think out of all the addictions this is one that people think is unreal and think what's wrong with wanting sex all the time, but it is a serious and needs to be addressed. Sex addiction can ruin relationships and marriages and families and to me that sounds like a problem and any kind of addiction. There are specialized counselors for this and I think that if you are experiencing this you should seek help and not feel embarrassed or ashamed. I think when you accept the fact that you do need help is so amazing and I wish everyone luck with any problems they are facing in life.

1. Junk food-Being malnourished weakens your immune system. It contains excess fats, sugars and kills around 310,000-580,000 people each year!
2. PCB's-stay away from unnecessary toxins like cigarette smoke, illicit drugs, excess alcohol, and also pesticide treated plants.
3. Avoid sleep deprivation-not getting enough sleep causes you to lose killer cells that fight off germs.
4. Don't get too Stressed out-some things can't be avoided like loss of a job, death of a spouse or marital separation.
5. Be Optimistic
6. Avoid Sedentary Lifestyles-Exercise!
7. Avoid Social Isolation
8. Stop Smoking
9. Arming yourself against too many antibiotics
10. Laugh to avoid stress

My good friend told me yesterday his New Year's Resolution is to stop smoking. I'm so happy for him! I just hope he can stick with it, I know it's hard. Is setting a date good though? I think I have heard mixed reviews on this. I think some people think that you can just keep pushing back the date, but also I think it's good to set goals and try and stick with it. Do any of you have resolutions? Mine is to eat healthier.
