what does it mean to be 'clean'? i went to a meeting once and will never go there again b/c the leader defined 'clean' as being free of everything that affects you from the neck up (so i guess i'm not allowed novocaine at the dentist anymore, thanks).

It is ok tblack it is just a small relapse. Just get back on the horse just to the place before you fell off. You can do it. The fact that you felt bad after smoking a couple shows your determinationm. You just need to develope some coping strategies for when your in the pub.

Go black

Good words, jst because yo uhave had a ciggarette or two when druk does mean that you are a smoker agian, put it out of your mind and get on with the business of living. You can do it!!!

Yes I would divluge all, its extremely important that your councellor knows all or how do they go about trying to help you. I understand speaking about thing like abuse would be very hard to bring up if ong buried and dormant

Do you reckon that spirits made with grain are more addictive than those that are not...its just that I was thinking of a couple of friends who have drink problems and they are grain spirit drinkers?

I think yes it can be an addiction the feelings are the sam ewhen winning and losing, plus remember when playing online you are not handing over real money to someone for chips, so the line is very blurred

I had a problm for years with Bulimia I would crave food and eat large amounts of food in secret. The most common foods to binge on are sweet, high-calorie foods often though of as ‘treats’, such as ice cream, cakes, chocolate and biscuits and then when I had eaten it all I would purge using self-induced vomiting.

Its a horrible disaease to have any only after many years of counciling have I been able to break th ecycle of destruction

If you look to eveything at once your issues can seem insurmountable, look at your problems and draw a list and set priorities and goals withing each issue, then tacke the list from the bottom up
