i find myself fitting into this section for drinking. anytime something happens and it really affects me i want to drink. all i can think about is drinking, drinking and drinking. its really hard to control and i have to stay with my accountability partner because i dont want to turn to any sort of drugs to handle my lifes issues.

the singer rihanna promised herself and her family that she would never do drugs. her father was a crack addict and it left her to raise her two brothers. she saw how drugs ruined her father and family and doesnt ever want to be in a situation like that again. i think its good that even though she personally hasnt done drugs, but someone close to her has and she is still speaking out against it and telling her story about drugs and the way it affected her life.

hi happilyevraftr it is a good start in itself to admit you have a problem and need help. hopefully the support from this site will start helping it. i think thats the reason why most of us are here. there are dual diagnostic facilities that can help you in more than one area and also maybe a psychologist or a counselor. maybe there is a deeper issue that you dont know is bothering you that much or something happened to you to make you react this way. i was having anxiety attacks for about 6mo and had to go to a psychologist to find out why and eventually we talked about so much and found the root of my problem. these are just suggestions. hopefully you can find the help you need. i wish you luck!

a boy from china "kidnapped" himself and asked for $1400 ransom to buy a wii! he hired two men to kidnap him so he could get his parents money. how ridiculous is this?! it seems like kids are so desperate and are willing to do whatever it takes to get what they want. i would never even do that or think about doing that to my parents..wouldnt they wonder where he got that money anyways?
