i think for true addicts they just dont see the point of taking breaks. A friend of mine has a pretty big problem with Xbox. he plays for seriously days in a row and with no sleep. I always ask him to come to lunch with me but dude doesn't see the point of taking a little break.

I've been smoking weed ever since i was 14 years old and I'm 31 now. I have my life on track I have a great job and a family and I'm not a messed up drugie like some people imagine me being. Smoking doesn't interupt most aspects of my life. But I do know that its bad for me and I could get in some pretty deep trouble and lose my job if i ever get caught. Also my little boy is growing up so I wouldn't ever want him to walk in on me in the garage and see me lighting up. I've tried quitting lots of times but i just get the worst headaches and dont see the point. I dont know how to quit for good. I dont want to go to a rehab center or NA groups. I want to do it on my own and anonymously.
How do i quit?

I just posted up my story on new to recovery. Lol I dont feel like retyping it. But basically I've been smoking weed for 17 years and it doesn't affect my life much but I agree that its time to quit. But quitting is so hard and I dont know where to start or what to motivate me. I dont want to go to a rehab or NA I want to do it on my own. Any advice?? please lol

I dont think a pregnant woman should be smoking at all. The childs health could be effected for the rest of their lives, not just for the 9 months its in there. So I really think theres no excuse for that.
will it affect him

My son is 3 years old and I smoke weed regularly. Never infront of him but i dont know whenever I see him after I smoke I just get a guilt trip like could this be affecting him? I dont think he understands that I smoke or knows. But i just get worried whether it will affect him.

I wouldn't want my son knowing about it. He'll figure it out when the times right.
