I am addicted to snickers candy bars. I love them so much that I can buy a pack of 10 and eat everyone of them. I think it is my worst addiction.!

I don't just like chocolate! It's a particular kind of chocolate: snickers candy bars! I can't control myself with them. I buy them by the 10 pack at Walmart and sit down and eat the whole pack. I developing my own personal cushion to sit on and it's not really too funny!

Thank you for your kind reply..Right now I am trying something I saw mentioned in another part of this forum and trying one less each day..This week was kind of good but not perfect.

Best of luck to you littleone. I know my addiction is different but I know it's hard sticking to a plan..I hope you can overcome your dependency on cigarettes..I need to stay away from snickers.

I think counseling is a good idea for you doughboy. I have a friend with a similar problem; they went for counseling and it helped. Also sharing with others and finding support from a program such as this helps too. Definitely put blocks on your computer and even tv etc.

Highfly, my father died from his addiction to alcohol. He rarely ate a good meal but always had a glass of vodka with pepsi to sip on..Always in and out of reality. He was a war veteran . and so perhaps, alcohol was his way of dealing with the problem. Anyway his liver became completely wasted away ..His skin became yellow and he died spitting up blood.

I think all of us have some sort of addiction to the internet more or less; it's just knowing how and when to pull the plug out.

I am battling my disorder..of liking chocolate, particulary snickers bars..I always buy them and can eat them in one sitting..I am not skinny and am a bit heavy..I need to learn to say no to chocolate.

I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time with your ex's death..It is normal and necessary though to grieve over such a loss. And though you were separated, you two shared so much together prior to your separation. I know from my studies that unless you grieve and allow yourself ample time to adjust you will never get over it..so please don't fight it..Allow yourself time to cry and also consider a grief counselor..You are not abnormal..it's part of recovery to grieve after someone we love dies.
