This is totally me, I'll snack up to five times a day at work if I don't take a lunch haha, but I usually have 10 or 12 hour days so I need a lot of food to have enough energy, and I work out at least twice a week. But indeed, I can see how a bad work setting could be unhealthy..

It bugs me when people argue about how addiction is not a disease... if you're chemically dependant on something and you're experiencing symptoms of withdrawal and it's affecting your whole life, I feel like it is..... someone that hasn't been through that can't relate to it.

I think I might be a little crazy with the whole world watching me like a microscope. For a while, she was the topic of every conversation, even her kids were posted on almost every magezine cover, she was being called a bad mother for strapping them into their car seats I mean that's depressing to me. I'm not saying she has a right to go out and use drugs and party all night, but maybe it's the only way she can deal with her illness.

And a lot of the contestants are returning, most of them are gaining all the weight back.  But also it seems like almost all of them are actually really serious about losing the weight and beating the other team.  It is a reality show afterall and therefore needs drama for ratings I guess! lol
Most of the girls on the show look much much better after losing the weight though.  And on this next season, the winners are all getting makeovers that's awesome!

I saw a really sad Oprah show about this the other day.  It was a group discussion involving women that are or were previously involved with married men.  One story was so sad because a woman was married to her husband and pregnant with her fourth child.  He had been cheating on her for some time and decided to leave her while she was 7 months pregnant.  She was a beautiful woman, smart, funny and seemed like a good mom.  He was also a youth pastor at his church and despite all of this he still left her.  She still didn't want him to leave after she found out and even grabbed his ankles as he was leaving.  Now they have joint custody of the kids and he even went back to ministry.
So this can literally happen to anyone.  It sucks being cheated on, but I could never believe my husband leaving me 7 months pregnant, with 3 other children to take care of!  And yes, you have a point, why can't men just be happy with what they have???  And women too, they cheat also!

I cannnot be on a diet around my mom!  She will put food in my face and say eat, eat you're not fat.. I know she's just being a mom and encouraging me to eat healthy but diets do not work around some people.  She's the type of person that can eat all she wants and not gain any weight.  But the difference is that she has time to work out and I don't so it get hard.  But some parents are much more accepting than society.

I remember being prescribed Prozac when I was in seventh grade.  I'm not sure why but I thought I needed them because my mom was also on them and my parents were going through a divorce.  But I kept insisting that I was depressed and my therapist gave them to me.  It was the lowest dose necessary but still, I remember it being so easy to get them.

Yes you're right.   Recovery can be a very spiritual process if you choose to go that route.  And especially as a group meeting they can lead you through the proper way to pray, which Bible versus can be helpful, and it can be a good place to meet sober friends.
Meth dealers

I've been hearing about a lot of meth dealers getting arrested in the news lately.  They carry betwen $1,000 and $10,000 worth of meth with them or in their homes and end up getting caught.  But how hard is it really, to spot a drug dealer in your neighborhood??  One particular kid was getting pulled over and he through a backpack out the window that contained enough chemicals to make as much as 14 grams of meth, which would have a total street value of $1400.  Another man, who had been to jail 4 times before, was dealing meth out of his house to support his heroin addiction.  After getting a search warrant, investigators found a cabinet which contained 75 grams of packaged meth, along with heroin, Oxycontin, and Morphine pills.  Sorry but drug users are probably the lowest of our society, they exploit others that are in a desperate state of living and could care less about anyone else besides themselves.

My best friend has problems with her thyroid.  She used to take medication for it, but she doesn't have MediCal anymore, so she really can't take her medicine.  But I'm going to tell her to start eating a lot of protein so that hopefully her thyroid can balance out at least a little bit.  I always thought Carbs were the most important for our brains, but it seems like proteins are very important as well.  So right before a test I should chow down on some Glutamine lol.

One of my girl friends has over 150 pairs of shoes.  It's curazzy and she keeps them all in shoe boxes so basically she stacks all of her shoes up and has a stool to reach them.  And she has a pair of Manolos that she's never worn!  Tons and tons of Baker heels, it's like she has every color shoe you can think of.  I don't see the point if you're not going to wear them :p

Also you may want to see your doctor, it may just be that you have a very high sex drive.  Sometimes our hormones get thrown out of wack.  You sort of remind me of Hulk Hogan.  He always talks about how he's so turned on by his wife and he's so attracted to her.  It's kind of cute though, your wife should feel lucky.  But you can't have too much of one thing too.

It seems like it could happen. There's been numerous school shooting because of people getting off of anti-depressants.  I don't know if the timing on Ugly Betty was like in the same day?  I think it might take a few days at least...
