Ok I'm going to speak from experience here. My mother was addicted to weed. It caused her to lose ALL THREE of her children. Weed/alcohol problems are not to be taken lightly. My mother went to rehab, got out and her best friend continued to smoke weed. Well of course seeing the pot my mother started smoking again. Not saying that the friend encouraged or caused her issue but it didn't help any. I think its for the BEST.

Its been brought about time and time again. How many people feel that women are more easily addicted to things than men. How do you feel about this? I think maybe women are more vulnerable than men and this may contribute to the issue at hand. For example most women addictions are commonly food, internet, shopping, alcohol etc. Which most are symptomatic of self treatment for common problems women face. Say a husband is neglectful, the woman goes to her online buddies or goes shopping to soothe herself... what do you think?

How can I solve my addiction once and for all? I'm literally addicted to the internet. I'll stay up late into the night/early morning typing or playing games etc. It all starts as soon as I'm done working on here. How can I conquer my addiction if I'm required to be online for my job? I am looking to figure it out. Please anyone have any ideas on how to start? thanks

My mother had an alcohol and weed addiction. It ended up with her losing all THREE of her children and having very little contact with us throughout our lives. We were all addopted by our paternal grandmothers. yes all THREE of us have different dads. Several years back I found out that the people who raised me were NOT related to me! There person she claimed was my dad WASN'T! To this day I still don't know who my father is. This is the result of an alcohol/weed addiction combination. My mother doesn't have a clue who all she could have been with to be my father. Sad. Please if you have an addiction of this nature SEEK HELP!

What are your thoughts on your addiction? I mean do you acknowledge you have a problem or is someone forcing you to get help? I personally came to reality on my own but my family is pushing me as well. I have a serious internet addiction. Even if I'm not onlin I need the computer on at all times so that I can be online if I want to. Anyway I admit I do need help. What about you?

Although I've never been able to get into this sort of thing I've heard amazing results from people who do use it. I'm thinking of starting yoga or pilates soon. What do you suggest?
