You can always keep messaging on this website. My friend refered me to it. They also have counselors that you can message, and honestly this is better for me because I feel more secure when the person I'm talking to doesn't know who I am and I'm not embarassed to talk about my problems. But I also suggest staying in alcohol free enviorments, when your around it your just going to want it more. and it makes recovery harder I'm sure you know that. Since its both you and your wife going through this recovery I suggest also getting some external support, maybe a parent or a best friend. Someone who is there to watch out for you. Keep talking to people online too, especially people who have been there and done that, I think they provide the best advice.

I like this story. I'ts really true though, God carries me through all my tough times and makes sure I get through them just fine. I have all my trust in God.

I remember this.. But I heard it in a different way, it didn't refer to got it was like " a poor man has _____ a rich man needs ____ and if you eat _____ you die"... that was the way I heard it but I like the one that refers to got better.

I never had much people using Oxy at my school, but they did get really into Triple C (Coricidin Cough and Cold medicine) they would say that it would make you feel drunk and high at the same time so ofcourse everyone wanted some, and I remember one of my friends even getting expelled for using it. I havent seen her ever since.

people in my high school didn't really use oxycontin much because it wasn't around, but so many people wanted to try it because it mentions it in a lil Whyte song.. it says..

I think the factory has good intentions but I dont think they should fire them. I mean tobacco isn't illegal so they shouldn't have the right to fire them you know.

I think treatment centers should do this to every patient. like if the patient is under 18 then a parent should give a consent to have this implanted in them, and if they're older then maybe a spouse, and I think every patient should be recommended to get this. I think its the best thing for these addicts!

if he was stealing that much money from people in jail he was bound to get caught. Really it amazes me how stupid of situations some people put their selves in.

I think the wisest think to do is spend half of your paycheck and save the other half. I understand really wanting to shop and buy things, so I know I wont ever be able to tell someone to jsut stop and save up their money, but if they spend half of it on all their expenses and then just save the other half in a bank account that is the best bet I think.

I read a story like this too except the pressure in the microwave killed the baby. Have you ever seen snakes on a plane? when he puts the snake in the microwave and it just POPS! thats what probably happend to the baby's insides.

I know exactly what your talking about. I told my boyfriend this before we got together and it actually made him respect me more. And he likes it. We broke up for a few months and he didn't even date any other girl because he didn't like that all the other girls were out partying, drinking and doing drugs with other guys, he had more respect for me.

I went 32 hours with no sleep and then I passed out. It was good though because I had a 16 hour flight so I slept through most of it and it went by fast.

These happen to me also. After a few times when they started coming true I started looking up their meanings, but after I did that none of them came true :-/

I think that every teen who gets put on anti-depressants should see a psychologist as well to make sure they dont start getting suicidal intentions. Parents should also be aware of this. There have been waaaay too many cases of teens going crazy because of anti-depressant side-effects.

If its just a personal preference the individual would be able to abandon it, yet if it is an addiction there are ususally symptoms of withdrawal and need for the substance.
