Where I live there are 2 casinos that are just 40 minutes away and another thats just an hour away and i know many people that stay out till 3 in the morning at the casinos every weekend, I think its a total waste of money and the sad part is they lose like 90% of the time!

  • Ignores responsibilities like work and school

I know a guy that commited scuicide by drowning himself in the pool. He did his homework, dried the dishes like he was supposed to, cleaned his room and wrote a note to his parents saying "I'm sorry for everything i cant live anymore". But his parents say he never did anything to hurt them or anything to be sorry for. He didn't ignore his responsibilities and his suicide was unforseen.

this is very sad. He wasn't on any medications or anything? I dont know why anyone would want to throw their lives away just like that. Life is a blessing and I think that everyone should realise that.

It’s really amazing what goes on through a drunken persons mind.  You’d expect teenagers to do that but not a 45 year old woman.

She shouldn't have had to buy him heroin to calm him down. If he was going to be angry towards her all the time then why should she have to put up with that? I'm sure she could find someone that wouldn't do that at all! She needs help psychologically.. And he needs rehab and jail.
Man trades sister for heroin

On the news there was a story about this story in Santa Fe County. Police were looking to solve a kidnapping case but it turns out it wasn’t kidnapping at all. A man traded his own sister for heroin. Police say they have heard of many cases where people would trade their kids but never adults. The man owed the dealer (Flotus) money for heroin and when he couldn’t pay he offered his sister. The sister agreed not because she wanted to but because she feared for her own safety. Flotus showed up at the victim’s house and took her and after driving to Santa Fe County he raped her in the back seat. The police are now looking for her brother.

Maybe these people are just promiscious like that and they dont get that its not allowed in the work place. That at work its required to be serious about everything and everything has its consequences. I think some people just really dont get it. I dont think they do it purposely.

Teenagers just dont pay attention to the consequences of their actions. I know I didn't. When I was young and I'd have my share of fun I never once thought that I could get this girl pregnant. I just thought that something like that owuld never happen to me. Thank god it didn't too! But even sexually transmitted diseases I never thought I would get them, I never ever thought of my consequences it just felt like those type of things wouldn't happen to me.

Alcoholism is a very hard disease to beat, but its not unbeatable and I trully believe that a person can completely recover and never drink again. Once an alcoholic always an alcoholic???? so not true! and I know a few living proofs of it.

relapse can happen at any time for any reason. Sometimes people relapse just by thinkiong they can control themselves. Like drinkers, some think that since they're sober they can manage how mcuh they drink, they can go back to just one cup. But that one cup is relapsing and most of the time their addiction starts again.

I think the rich people have higher oppurtunities to getting sober because they can afford the best treatment center and all that. And treatment centers are expensive. But I think that rich people have higher chances of relapsing because they can afford the drugs. And I also think they may use more drugs during their addiction since they can afford it.

I think your parents have the right to do that. They're looking out for you. And think about it all your friends that dont have cerfews and can do whatever, how great is their life really? because most the people that I knew that were like that their parents didn't give them much money and they never spent time together at all. Like its either you have one or the other, and I'd rather have my parents more involved in my life.

I think the first thing you should start tackling is the drug and drinking problem. When your mind is clear your going to be able to beat the rest more easily. I would also suggest so psychiatric help also. I trully beleave they can help a lot.

I think you should ask your family for support. You'll never be able to stop on your own. Thats almost impossible. I think you should try your hardest to stop this. Dont go shopping unless someone who knows about your addiction is with you. Try real hard to not go. Also I think talking to a psychologist will help a lot too.

alessandra said: I was never singled out by a teacher at school but I saw a lot of students who were always the negative focus of the class.  One boy had troubled parents and he ended up being a trouble maker, but he was actually really smart, one of the smartest kids in school.  But my teacher still gave him a hard time and wouldn't spend extra time with him.  A lot of teachers have absolutely ruined kids, it's a shame.  And these troubled kids end up getting in more trouble as they get older and then other kids make fun of them too.

I really hate when teachers do this. They shouldn't choose this profession if they're going to single out on kid that they dont like. I know this one little girl that is really the most annoying thing you'll ever meet, she's twice as tall as the otehr kids, has the loudest voice and just does things that annoys everyone, even her personal hygeine is bad, so you can only imagine how much anyone would like her right? well anyways I took my sister to school and she was in her class, the teacher you could tell didn't like her either but she treated her EXACTLY the same as the other kids. She even hugged her just like she would the other kids. I think thats how all teachers should be. You shouldn't treat a child differently for any reason.

how did you get over anorexia?
