My problem...

Hey I'm new to this website. I have a problem with marijuana but I'm kind of embarassed to talk about it with my friends and family here. I've been getting caught up with my parents because my car always smells like it and I hate the way they've been looking at me lately. There's so much disapointment in their eyes and I cant bear it. They're great people and they do so much for me, I cant keep doing this to them. I want to get help but I dont want to let anyone in my social or family life know. So I guess this is my first step. I'm admitting it and I'm asking for help from everyone on here who can provide it.
Morocco growers going dooown

Morocco has been the worlds top cannabis grower for quite a while now but now they seem to be losing it’s position to Afghanistan. Right now Morocco’s multibillion dollar marijuana harvest almost halved from 2003-2006. While Afghanistan is increasing.
Morocco started growing cannabis to draw investment and help lift the region out of poverty. Four years go the hashish trade brought in an estimated $12 billion for dealers. Around a quarter of that sum was brought into the Moroccan economy. But since there was suspicions that sale from hashish helped pay for terrorist activities, Moroccan authorities have tightened drug controls at ports and installed scanners to be able to detect cannabis within large trucks and containers. A record of 35 metric tons of hashish was seized last year, that’s a 25% increase from 2006.
I never knew Morocco grew so much weed, and I thought Afghanistan was more focused on growing opium.

Rapper T.I.

Rapper T.I. is expected to plead guilty today federal  weapons charges and will face prison time and community service. He was charged with possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers, as well as possession of firearms by a convicted felon. He’s a 27 year old singer whose real name is Clifford Harris and is expected to be spending 1,500 hours of community service talking to youth groups around the country about, guns, drugs, and gangs. Then followed by 12 months in prison.
I think the community service is a very good idea. I just graduated high school last year, and I know that if a famous singer who we all know the words to his songs, talked to us about drugs and all those things, I would listen to him more than I would a D.A.R.E officer. I’m sure he will have a great impact on the kids lives and may prevent them from these things.

oooh this is what got me caught the first time with my parents. My high school did a random drug testing one day and I smoked 2 days before. The results came a week later and my parents got the phone call, which led to my phone call which led to getting my phone and car keys taken away, and being grounded for a month!!
I wouldn't want to stop this if my kids were in high school. I think its a good program and you can catch your kids efficiently if they are on drugs. Unless you want to do the tests at home your self. Once I'm a parents I think I'll do both, I wouldn't want my kids making the same mistakes or worse.

Has anyone here ever experience it here and would share how it was?

My parents mentioned rehab to me, but I really dont want to admit to them that I have a problem. It'll break their hearts and I dont want that. I'm going to do this on my own!

I think it's their lives and they should do as they please. If they want to have a plastic surgery than so be it, whether it turns out good or bad or whether they regret it or not is their problem and their choice.

I had to write an essay in english about how technology separeates our families. I never really gave it much thought but there really are some negative sides to techonology. Like I remember eight years ago every night my brothers and sisters and my parents would get together at the dining room table and play monopoly or clue and all those board games. Or we'd spend weeks trying to put together a 3000 piece puzzle that seemed endless. Even at dinner the TV was never on and we'd talk about everything. All these were like family bonding time and we'd turn to each other for entertainment when were bored.

Now its completely differen't. During dinner time all our attention is focused on the TV and no one says a word. When were bored, we go on the internet or play Xbox or watch TV. We dont go up to each other anymore and entertain each other. Everyones separated into their own worlds because of how much technology has taken over. Don't get me wrong I would never trade my phone or laptop for anything in the world and I couldn't live without technology but it has had a super big impact in our lives in ways we dont even know.

I have a friend that does this. Him and his ex get together just to have sex. She is getting over him and is dating and wants to move on. But they were together for so long and basically they're both addicted to sex, they need it in their lives. She doesn't want to go sleep around with other guys but the way she sees it is that she already slept with him and she lost it to him so it makes no difference to her. He's just there now sexually for her. However they do call each other when things go wrong in their lives.

I dont think Benjamin Franklin was talking about mistakes. I think what he meant is if someone hits you u can recover from that and get over it. But sometimes things people say (a slip from the tongue) hurt you so bad that you never get over it.

This is what bothers me.  The present Administration got us into the Iraq War by claiming Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, which he did not have at the time.  Before the war, we were told the coalition forces would be greeted as liberators, and although many Iraqis did so, most clearly see us as invaders/occupiers.  The White House told Congress the war would basically pay for itself or be inexpensive....it's now costing us trillions of dollars and 4,000 men and women have been killed.

Here's the punchline: When Vice President Dick Cheney was reminded by an ABC reporter that two thirds of the American people are against the war, his reply was, "So?"

This is why I really hope Obama wins. He will take us out of the war while Hillary supports it. I think its time all our troups come home and just leave Iraq alone. Its their own country, we helped them and rid them of Saddam I think thats enough.

The only thing that gets me is that we have different religious views, do you think it's possible to be happy with someone and get along if you belong to different religions?

I think it's very possible, but the only thing that would really suck is if you guys get married, what religion would they be?
