A rabbi has been given a suspended five year prison sentence for possessing child pornography. Edward Schlaeger is 53 years old. He is also on probation and has been ordered to register as a sex offender. Before his sentencing he told the judge that he has great remorse and has accepted all responsibility for his actions. Not only is he a rabbi but also a clinical social worker. His wife discovered 2 CD’s with child porn images while cleaning out their home in 2005.
Wow that must be really embarrassing for him since he is a rabbi. I wonder if he will still be able to stay a rabbi though. I wouldn’t want my kids going to his church. I really don’t understand how people can get a kick off child porn?? They’re little kids! That’s so sad!!

You dont know he was going to sell them or take them. They're his fiances. When Grandpa goes to pick up Grandma's medicine does he have the intentions on dealing them and taking them? Why wouldn't he get arrested and charged with the same things? I think if his fiance testeifies and says she didn't know he had her medicine and that he was going to sell it thats the only proof they have, other than that he is an innocent man. He didn't have a random persons pills, he had his fiances.

I tell my girlfriends my problems. Not all of them but my best friends whom i trust with my life. They always give me the best advice. And if their advices are different then they all talk about it and come up with the best thing for me. I trust them completely.

I believe that once an alcoholic always an alcoholic is true to a degree. If an alcoholic quits and never touches alcohol again then he is not an alcoholic any longer. But i dont believe that once an alcoholic has recovered that they could drink even a sip of champaigne again. They wont be able to control it and they will keep drinking, that alcoholic will always stay an alcoholic.

In Canada it’s not the teens and young adults who are smoking the most marijuana, but the average age of marijuana users were 31 year olds. 40 percent of adults aged 30-49 were reported smoking pot, in 1977 this number was 15.7 percent. And these aren’t potheads who spend all day on the couch listening to music; they are working adults with most of them making over $50,000 a year.
This kind of surprised me, living in California I don’t see very many adults who smoke. I only know of about four or five. But I’ve heard of alooooot of teenagers smoking. I don’t believe that smoking weed will make people bad at work or lead to them losing their jobs. So it doesn’t surprise me that these smokers’ incomes are over $50,000, but what I’m thinking of is what about their kids?

My cousin started smoking at that age. Both her parents smoke, they could never smell it on him and it was so simple for him to get the cigarettes because his mom used to tell him to grab her a pack from their pantry. they always had atleast 10 packs in there and he would just take an extra one and they wouldn't notice. Now when they see packs of cigaretts in his car he just tells them its theirs and they're dumb enough to fall for it.

You know how it takes guys a few more shots than girls to get them drunk that it leads them to become alcoholics more than it does girls? Or is it all the same and it's just the persons decisions and addictive personalities?

lol when you dont drink lots of water it causes constipation.
I like drinking water because I just feel better I feel like it jsut cleans out my system.

I dont think you should be too worried about it. I dont think you should agree with it but dont let it bother you too much. I know you see your mother as a role model and a perfect person but she is also human and humans also make mistakes. not everyone is innocent. As long as your mom has her life on track, isn't high all the time and getting caught with drugs by cops or always having weed on her then dont worry too much. Talk to her about it and try getting her to quit and stop. But dont let it ruin your day.

I can be around all my friends and family who I know love me to death but still feel lonely. But Even if I'm not arounf my boyfriend or haven't seen him for a few days I dont feel lonely because i just have the feeling that I know I have him. And as long as I do I'm not lonely.

But actually, with your story, I agree with his sentence to be charged with trading drugs for sex, because both people were wrong even though they both consented to it... he should get in trouble too because you need to trust people who are in healthcare and law enforcement to not take advantage of you!

eww now i just got a picture of my dentist doing that :-S I know he would never he is such a good man plus theres windows on all his doors hehe. but thats just gross.
and who would be crazy enough to give up their body for pills!!!

I think he should've gotten a hearing and had some testing done on him. Thats so sad though spending all your teen years in a jail. I'm sure he regrets his mistake so much!

Its called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, HCG which is pregnant women’s placentas produce to stimulate progesterone production. It’s the hormone detected in a pregnancy test. Its not FDA approved and the FDA concerns are infertility treatments and testosterone stimulation in men. It was invented in the 1950’s by a British doctor and was popular in the 1960’s and 1970’s. But how it works is controversial. One doctor said that it works by changing the hypothalamus activity to regulate hunger and redistribute fat stores more attractively. Another doctor said it cleansed the liver and that it helped burn an extra 2,000 calories per day. But nothing really bad and health hazardly has been found with this.
