Sunshine did say that it is how it appears to be in her mind.

But I do agree with you phaedrus. It is a misleading thread. It made me think here... since when did Christianity become something anyone should recover from?

Like many things in life, something that is good can be used by the unscroupulous to bad ends. Think of the people who were molested by members of the clergy. It would twist them so badly that they may feel it is something they want to 'recover from'.

yeah....but we are talking about addiction here....not abuse.

We can never assure anyone that no one is going to die for if there is anything I am sure of in this world.... we are ALL going to die.

Sometimes superstitions get the better of us. They are 99% unfounded and therefore we should not let it paralyze us.

It is a song written and recorded by.... oh lordy... I forget right now. Although that song is kinda old already... early 90's.... the message is still as beautiful now as it was then.

You really must look ahead... looking back all the time will cause you to stumble and fall. It pays to know a balance of both.

I do not think that there is seriously an addiction to music.

Let us not sugar-coat it just because he is 13. If it were food....say he kept on eating... would it not ring warning bells?

It is addiction and you have got to do something about it.

Cold turkey is what worked for me. *Gobble gobble*

My opinion is that I would have to experience it first hand. Have never been hypnotized before.

Refined sugar. Refined flour products. There are so many things that taste good but are bad for you.

My opinion is this.... how is it affecting your son? Negative family life has life-long effects. Your responsibility is toward him... not your parents... they have lived their lives already.... nor your siblings (do they really care?).

I would do what is best for my son.

Self-control. If you do not buy any.... you can't eat any....maybe hypnosis will work for you? :)
