Fergie's Stories

I thought this was very interesting, Fergie from the black eyed peas talked about paranoia episodes she had while she was on methamphetamine. She said, "I had about 20 different conspiracy theories. I painted the windows in my apartment black so they couldn't see in." She thought the FBI was after her during a brief addiction to methamphetamine in 2001. "One day, when I was about 90 pounds, a guy comes up to me. ... I'm searching in the bushes for clues about whatever they're after me for. I'm in a cowboy hat and red lips. He hands me a muffin. I'm thinking, he's in on it".
But unlike other drugs methamphetamines can directly cause a permanent delusion or hallucination. So Fergie got lucky that this didn’t happen to her.

Steve-O from Jackass is now in rehab. The 33 year old was arrested earlier this month for possession of cocaine and was hospitalized at a mental health center. But he says that all his troubles go back to when he was a child. But now he is ready to quit.
His dad was a corporate executive whose job required the family to travel a lot. And both his mom and dad were quite self conscious of how they were perceived by others. On airplanes before his mom and dad would find themselves embarrassed of being caught by other passengers with a crying baby, he was fed alcohol.
His mothers alcohol addiction got so bad at a point where she even lied about having canser so that she could stay in bed and drink all day. His mom is dead now and he says he misses her very much. He says he cant believe he took up a drinking habit after he watched it ruin his mother.

I spend a healthy time on line, only about 1 or 2 hours a day and sometimes I skip days. so about 12 or 10? I like getting out of the house and doing things outside with other people rather than online and at home.

I've never heard of meth being perscibed a pain relief but isn't it used when someone is addicted to heroin or something like that to help with the withdrawals?

Isn't it much more expensive for drug dealers to obtain the pure one and sell that?

If its smoking ciggs then honeslty don't be so tough on him. A very large percentage of the world smokes ciggs, and although it is bad and it will harm his lungs and everything its not worth fighting over and causing a bunch of drama. Talk to him as much as you can and try talking him into it but dont cause problems.
Now if its marijuana then you do have a problem and I suggest an intervention.
