AJ is right, everyone gets these voices in side their heads, not just about drugs but about everything. you could be wanting to do something that you know is bad for you yet that voice keeps wanting to do it. You just need to have enough willpower to not listen to it

I never imagined old people with addictions. I know ofcourse about teens and young adults even some in their thirties and fortys but I always thought they grow out of it before they become seniors and they dont keep using it... Guess not :-/

AtomicDragon said: Well, I've been an addict all throughout high school and all of my best moments have been when I was either stoned, drunk, or on some kind of drug.  But now that I've made a commitment to stay sober, I'm like what now?  I'm at that stage where I don't know how to have fun without being f****d up and it's like making a different person.  I'm ususally so loud and crazy, but now that I'm not drunk all the time, like at parties and even just chillin with my friends, it's not the same!  Anyone else been here before?

this isn't like making a different person. Your still your self, but a better version with no drugs and alcohol to alter your mind. This is your true self. It'll be boring at first and you'll want to just drink and party with ur friends and do drugs every now and then, but dont do it. You can have fun without it I promise. Drink a redbull before a party or during it to get hyped up. Laugh be loud and crazy and everything just dont do it under the influence.

I do this.. how sad! I keep it under my pillow and I'll text through out the night and then when I wake up in the morning i read what I sent sometimes what I sent doesn't make sense but the other person gets it hehe.

I used to bite my fingernails and then I used that nail polish stuff that makes your nails taste bitter. it took me three days and I've never bitten them since. I developed a little habit of pinching my lip though but my boyfriend would slap my hand lightly everytime I did it and after a while I just stopped.

I think once it airs it will give her a bad image infront of everyone. I mean hearing her talk about doing it is different than seeing her doing it.  Wasn't it President Bush that admitted he smoked weed as a teenager, if people saw a video of him doing that around election time I think that would be much different and he would've lost many voters.

I really dont think you could get addicted after using only once. Your body doesn't need the substance in it to function, infact its not used to it at all. But I think after you try it once you could like it and then keep wanting to do it, then that developes into an addiction.

I agree. I really dont see the bad thing about energy drinks that people keep trying to point out. sodas bad for you also so they should just complain about that.Caffiene is a natural substance, we drink it healthy in tea and coffee so I dont see whats so bad about it in energy drinks. I love my energy drinks!

AllForOne said: Do you guys remember that one ice cream with all the sprinkles all on it. They made that one commercial for it where the guy would take a bite and then he'd turn into all sprinkles? Well I was obsessed with that ice cream. For about 2 weeks that was all I ate. And then I just couldn't eat it anymore. Now I would like to have one but they stopped making them.

I hate it when they stop making ice creams! I used to like these popsicles that went up and around and twisted into all different colors and they were sooo yummy! but now they stopped making them.

Have you guys realised that when your looking for something in particular you can never ever find it. But if you're not looking for it you see it all over the place! This was the beggining of my addiction. I really wanted a pencil skirt and I saw them everywehere for a whole month but the day I start looking for it they're all hideous and none my size or I just cant find any. I started just buying a bit of everything that I didn't even need just incase I'd one day start needing it. Have any of you done that? I've been trying to cut down a lot though lately I think I'm doing a good job.

This will be a lot better, especially for teenagers. I think somehow though they'll find a way to get high off of it. But woudln't the oxycontin makers also be losing a lot of money since no many addicts wont be using their drugs? Bad thing to think about I know but like, thats very sincere of them to be willing to lose millions of dollars in order to help out addictions in society.

I havent seen her ever since.

I remember this. I never tried it but I was with a friend when she did, she swallowed about 5 pills or so and just started getting horrible horrible headaches. I dont think I'll ever try it after seeing her go through that pain,  I dont know how the otehrs got enjoyment out of it.

As long as you dont take advantage of it, there are also some perks. You ahve the internet at the palm of your hands so entertainment anywhere you go. I got through with some tests because of my phone. Just google the answer and within 2 mins I have it. cheating, but hey I got a good grade =P they're not all bad, but I dont think its right to use it during dinner and family time and while your out with your friends.

I think if we could provide jobs in afghanistan it would help alot. Like if big corporate companies like AT&T expanded and was used in Afghanistan, there would be hundreds more job positions available for them and we'd also be making money. Maybe also factories over there, or we could pay for more fast food restaurants. All those things are things we have here in America and countries like that dont. If we provide them with just a few things they could have better jobs and wont have to result to opium fields.

What larryking said does make sense. when we get deja vu we cant really remember when we saw it last but were so sure we did. So if our brain just mistakes it as a past but we know were living it in the presence it just blends in and the best common sense judgement we can think of is psychic abilities, but thats not the case.
