its all because of gas prices.. i have no time to make myself lunch for work so I have no choice but to buy fast food. And really most my paycheck goes to food. I feel so fat saying that lol, but its true.

Did you know that if you put a pencil sized amount of uranium in your fuel tank your car can run 20 years without ever having to fill up. Can you imagine how great that would be?? I wouldn't want a 20 year one, I'd want a quarter of that a 5 year one so I can still change my car every 5 years. But that would be so great never having to go to the gas station ever again! But the only problem with this is theres only 1% of uranium found that we could use for fuel. So we'd all be basically fighting for it.
Dont Feed Phil

I remember watching this show on MTV called Viva La Bam, they had this episode that was called don’t feed Phil. Bam, disgusted at Phil's eating habit decides to place Phil on a 24 hour no food diet. He removes all the food from the house and puts an alarm on the fridge. He cleans out Phil’s desk area where random snacks are hidden. The only thing Phil is allowed to have is hot or cold water.
While out paying Bam's bills, Phil goes all over West Chester in search of a restaurant to serve him. Little does he know that Bam has placed posters, flyers bumperstickers and billboards all over the town. He also has it broadcasted on a local radio station giving a warning to all local establishments to not feed Phil and he hires a plane to fly a banner overheard. After finding no food, Phil heads home where Brandon DiCamillo is mocking Phil by eating piles of junk food.
But Phil came through and to celebrate his father’s fast Bam had a concert in his living room. I thought this episode was hilarious and Phil was getting furious!

I think if she goes to church it'll make her more of a Christian it would help her. People become religious at spontaneous times and no one ever expects it. I thought I would be the last person in the world to ever become religious and pray but I spun 180 degrees and I'm the most religious out of all my friends.

Adultry has to be one of the most egregious things both men and woman
deal with on a daily basis. Desires of the heart are very hard to just lay aside
especially in emotional people because those feelings are sometimes
quite overwhelming.

I'm not so sure Jesus was speaking only of sexual "lust."

I think people need to read the Bible and get out of it what works for them. Many things should be taken metaphorically and not literally.

This is why it's important to attend church so that he can interpret the Bible in ways that we cannot always understand.  Or if you're reading your Bible and you don't understand something, you can always ask your Pastor what the meaning is.

arent there also books you could buy that translate it into ways we could understand?

Red line didn't really work for me I dont know why but I just didn't get hyper off of it as I would from other energy drinks. I wanna give this cocaine a try, but I havent seen any being sold.

alessandra said: Do you think deep down everyone has a reason that they're using drugs?  My best friend used drugs because he was extremely depressed and self-conscious inside but didn't want anyone to know about it.  And, others do it because they like the feeling, but there has to be a reason that they keep using even when they know if they don't stop, they're stuck with an addiction.

I dont believe that there is always a reason why they keep using it. They like the feeling so they keep doing it because its fun. You like the taste of ice cream so your going to keep eating ice cream, your not depressed you dont need it you just like it. You get what I mean? But once a person keeps using a drug for pleasure your body becomes used to the substance and can't go without it. If you drank coffee every morning for ten years once you stop your body is going to want it, and it will send out painful signals showing you that it needs it.

I think you should continue, deal with the headaches for a while and suck it up, they'll go away and they're not going to stay forever. But you could stay sober forever, and its good for your son.. That makes it all worth it.

Sarah said: Well I should share this with my girlfriends.  They're actually addicted to cigarettes, it's so sad because whenever they see me, it's like hey, can you buy me a pack of ciggs? PLeeeeeZ?  I can hardly stand it, but I keep telling myself it's their addiction talking, not them.  But they've all made new years resolutions to quit and all failed within a few hours after midnight.  But they've been talking about quitting for months, so this may be the trick they need :)

Also try to get ALL your friends to quit not just one, because if just one is quitting and the rest are smoking right infront of her it makes it so much harder for her.

I think also joining a recovery group would be a good idea, I know it may embarassing for you to take that step but your not the only one and there are millions of others out there who have the same addiction or worse. I would do whatever it takes to quit and be sure your done with it in order to have a happy succesful life and marriage.

I dont think he should have ended his friendship with your brother but instead had a good talk with him about maybe not smoking around him or being under the influence around him ether. Basically keep the drug away from him completely, that way he can keep their friendship and have his support but not be involved with the drug.

I dont believe clutter makes you fat :) one of my friends rooms is a total mess you cant even open the door all the way because there's so much stuff on the floor. But he is very clean and showers twice a day and he most definately is not fat, and I'm not the cleanest person ever and my stuff s cluttered all over the place, I'm not gaining weight either.

I think it could also just be mental. Like you want a cigg but even if you smoke a long cigg or a short one it's still a cigg, I dont think anyone keeps track of their nicottine intake. I can imagine it helping.

When I was a kid my mom took up the habit of smoking and it drove me crazy. I would cry and scream and try my hardest to get her to quit but she wouldn’t. I told her I’d get straight A’s if she quits. We made the deal and shook on it. The end of the semester came and I had all A’s and one B. The B was only because the girl next to me cheated off my paper and my teacher gave us both F’s. I cried to my teacher and told her about my problem with my mom and it wasn’t my fault the girl cheated I had nothing to do with it. She wouldn’t hear any of it, and I came home without my straight A’s. For years I couldn’t help but feel that it was all this teachers’ fault why my mother didn’t quit. Luckily about 2 years later my mother finally saw how much her cigarette smoking bothered me and quit. But I don’t know till this day I still can’t help but blame that teacher. I still don’t like her.

I really think whoever said that just said it to comfort someone because I really dont believe it and I've never met anyone who does. A bruise heals but getting your feelings hurt dont go away.

Jankowski said: Well once you start doing drugs, you start becoming a different person.  People don't set boundaries for themselves anymore.  I swear, it all starts with weed.  I always thought my parents didn't know what they were talking about when they said weed was a gateway drug.  But it really is.  And so are prescription pills.

this is very true. I never thought of it that way but its true, a person tries weed and enjoys it and has fun with it for a while but then they want to try something new and the something new is always stronger and more powerful and more addictive.
