Depression is the most common mental disorder and it is one of the most commonly undiagnosed.  Depression symptoms can go years untreated, affected a person for a lifetime even.  Here are the five types of depression to be aware of:

Bipolar Disorder can also be referred to as manic disorder.  It is often misdiagnosed because of all the types of major depression.  It is the only one where vitims experience episodes and may become hyperactive.  Because their bouts of sadness are interrupted by these episodes, they do not always look like clinically depressed people.

Unipolar Disorder or major depression, and bipolar depression are the types that are often contrasted.  People suffering from Bipolar Depression may themselves not realize they are depressed because of their frequent switches from extreme sadness and lassitude to extreme happiness commercial carpet cleaning an overabundance of energy. There are no such fluctuations in Unipolar Depression; its most obvious symptom is the sufferer’s continuing sadness and lethargy.

Dysthymic Disorder is a less severe version of Unipolar Depression recognizable for the length of its duration.Dsythymic Disorder will last for more than two years, and because it continues for so long, negative attitudes of its sufferers are often dismissed as unattractive personality traits. Because of this, of all the types of depression, Dysthymic Disorder is the one least likely to be diagnosed, and it may affect someone for a lifetime.

Psychotic Depression The last, and most severe of the different types of clinical depression is Psychotic Depression, which brings visual and auditory hallucinations in addition to a negative emotional stated and loss of interest in life.

This is a good quote to put somewhere where you're always reminded of it. It's easy to credit ourselves for things going right in our lives, but it's really because of God.  It's important to thank him everyday for everything, even the bad stuff.

What I think is really rotten, is how they will give you a loan with an adjustable interest rate.  This drives many families and homeowners out of their homes and on the streets.  They give you a loan, and you're fine making the payments, but then they increase the interest all of a sudden.  You have no choice but to pay them back or claim bankruptcy.

This is a really good poem, I like it :)  It's pretty sad, you can tell it's written by someone who really cares about their family.  But this is how all families feel when a family member or friend is going through an addiction.  It's hard, it's so so so hard.  But it's so worth it.
