Cocaine Vaccine

Have any of you heard of this?  A Houston doctor has developed a vaccine for cocaine addiction, I saw a brief story on the news about it.  I would try this if it meant an easier recovery.

Well before any of the pics started coming out, the paparazzi was saying how good of a role model she was.  But after there were personal pictures of her showing her bra to a guy, and a girl that was suposedly Miley showing off some skin, this pic with Vanity Fair didn't mix well.  I do think she is too young to be such a big star, she's only 15 and I don't feel like she can handle the shoes she's trying to fill.  Even though she's only 15, a lot of girls are looking up to her, it's not right.

I don't think clutter makes me fat either, but I can see how it's just another factor of an unhealthy lifestyle.
Energyyyyy Drinks!

Since nearly 500 energy drinks were released last year alone, we should really take a closer look at these things and see how safe they really are.  Apparently it's a $3.5 billion-a-year industry.
- The 'energy boosting' substance in all of these so-called 'energy drinks' is caffeine, plus many contain guarana, a plant that contains caffeine and other stimulatiing chemicals.  Most of the highly tooted ingredients do nothing, so essentially what the drinker gets is a sugar rush and caffeine buzz.
- The alertness you're looking for can last into the night, making insomnia a problem.  So you're tired during the day, then you drink another boosting beverage and the cycle starts again.
- Oh and they recommend to not drink more than 3 cans a day
The best ones I've had were Rockstar and Energy69, but I can only have them once in a while.  I've decided that sleep isn't for losers.  :D

This law is mostly affecting girls because that's all they drink!  Most girls don't like the taste of beer and prefer not to take shots, they'd rather chill out with a wine cooler or some form of alcopop.  I hardly think making new laws is going to affect the sales, everything is going up in price now.

Yeah that could be a reason why so many young people stay addicts.  They may not even know they're addicted.  They may have beer every weekend because they think partying is normal and it's fun.  But in reality, sin is only fun for a season.  You eventually get sick of it and hopefully will move on to better things.

If something is getting big in the U.S., it's only a question of time when it will become popular in other countries.  I wonder how our government taxes online gambling or if they even do...??

Where did you hear about this?  That seems a little unreal.  I bet they're just telling us there's only 1% available because they want us to keep buying gas forever and ever....

That's good to hear that she got help.  What kind of recovery program did she go to?  Do you know what type of treatment she went through to overcome it?

Exactly.... that's the kind of answer that guy needed to hear lol.  My mom's boyfriend has a daughter who is most likely bipolar, or something similar.  She gets into a ton of trouble, she gets drunk, smokes weed, hangs out with the weirdest people... my mom has no relationship with her whatsoever.  She has nothing endearing about her, she's very boyish and can be so hard headed.  Her dad wanted to buy her a car, but because of how she acts, he decided there's no way that she could handle a car, and she's already sixteen.  But she lives with her crazy mom so there's really not much contact, except when she decided to cause problems.  He has two other boys, that ususally don't cause problems, but they are not the greatest kids either.  So my mom chooses to stay out of all the family drama and will often distance herself if things get out of hand for him.  But they've been together for over three years and are planning to marry, so things can work out if you know how to work around such problems.
Men With Eating Disorders

Approximately 12% of those suffering from eating disorders are men, and they're the least likely to get treatment for it.  Fortunately more men in the media are telling stories about their battles with bulimia and anorexia.  Craig MacLean, a cyclist in the UK, is talking about his battle with bulimia and how he beat it.  That's an extremely brave thing to do, considering not very many men will talk about their ED.  MacLean would binge and purge to stay thinner and more in shape.  But his weight was actually increasing and his performance suffered.  He considers himself recovered, which is good, and hopefully his story can help a lot of people.

Did you hear about the guy from 'Knocked Up,' how he was smoking pot on stage at an awards show... and I remember last year at the VMAs how Snoop Dogg was drinking orange juice and admitted that he was on Ecstasy.  The media has a lot to do with the drug culture, they fuel it, feed off it, and eventually profit off of it.  I can't agree that everyone is denying it, but there's certainly no one doing anything about it.
