It's really important to give your kids fruits and vegetables when they're young for two reasons.  First, they get all of the vitamins they need for strong bones, and to balance out their system.  And they can develop a liking for it, how you said earlier.  Most kids hate vegetables but if you get them used to it early, they won't be scared of it.  Also they're coming out with a ton of books of how to make fun food like mac and cheese but put it like brocolli and other vegetables so your kids don't even know they're actually eating healthy.

I'd like to get back into horseback riding.  It's so relaxing, much better than plopping yourself on the couch.  Horses are very smart, and can have a lot of emotions too, and they only want to please you.  I use to ride when growing up, it taught me a lot of responsibility.

Has anyone else seen the new Calvin Klein photoshoot of Kate Moss?  I seriously considered sending my daughter's jeans back in protest, but instead I sat down and talked to her about her eating decisions and whether pictures of such thin, emaciated looking girls made her feel fat.  I understand waify looking models like kate moss are naturally thin and are often too overbooked and busy to eat.  However, the way they're photographed and portrayed can have a lasting effect on young girls.
Reminders of Why You're Sobering Up

In the past, I've done soo many stupid things while intoxicated.  I'm a big victim of drunk dialing, even drunk emailing.  Text messaging has got to be the worst thing technology has created for drunks.  One time I even emailed President Bush expressing my anger about past inventions that have disappeared and how we could be doing something worthwhile about the energy crisis.  I said I was going to do everything I could to reduce the consumption of energy, with or without him!  Now I realize how stupid that was, I was looking out for calls from the secret service and such for a few weeks after that.  Now that I think about it, everything I did while drunk was stupid, so I remind myself of such incidents to stay motivated to remain sober haha.

In serious relationships, it's hard to really know if the decision to break things off or stick together was actually the right decision.  Even people in their 30s and 40s wonder about their high school sweethearts.  If it's your first real love, then I think you'll always have a place in your heart for them.  Especially when they're hurting or going through something, you want to be there for them.  I know for sure that, regarding me and my first boyfriend, we decided that we couldn't just be friends.  Since the first day we met each other, we had feelings for each other.  We've never just been friends.  So letting go, was letting go 100% like losing him forever.
