More Drug Deaths Than Traffic

In new Hampshire there are more deaths due to drugs than there are to Traffic deaths. The state had 129 traffic deaths in 2007, and 168 overdose deaths. Methadone was to blame in 57% of the drug deaths. In 2006 127 traffic deaths and 142 drug overdose with methadone involved in 53%. And its not the liquid methadone dispensed to addicts at the clinics, but pills prescribed by doctors as pain relief.
Methadone in pill form is less expensive than other prescribed painkillers, such as OxyContin and Vicodin. For example, it can cost $5.50 per OxyContin pill in a 30-pill prescription. Drug dealers may sell those for $40 each. A 5-milligram methadone tablet, however, can cost 33 cents each in a typical prescription, and they often are sold for $10 each on the street.
I live in California, I’ve never heard of a methadone pill, but Vicodin and OxyContin are big here. Have any of you heard about this??

I had a problem with Vicodin, I dont know if you'd exactly call it an addiction because I wasn't physically addicted. I could do without it with no withdrawals, but I was mentally addicted. It was all I thought about, I loved the feeling and how it made me calm and numb. I'd take one everyday, especially when I was at boring places, it made time go by faster for me. But it took me a few months to realise that so much of my money was going towards a pill, and most my time was focused on thinking about how I want a pill. I proud to say I've been going strong for about 2 months.=]

I dont think its just the TV its the peers too. It's all kids talk about. What party they went to this weekend how they got "totally faded" or how one of their friends passed out and they drew all over them. It's what they talk about at school. It's not just TV. Even if all alcohol scenes were removed from the TV kids will still party big.

Are there special tooth pastes that smokers are supposed to use? Or do these just make your teeth whiter?

Can't they get in really big trouble for hosting the site if they are younger than 18?

I think you could be developing an eating disorder. Stop worrying so much, it what you want when you want just eat small portions of it .Your body is more used to digesting food that you have been eating all your life than food which has been mechanically cut down to have lower calories fake sugars and no carbs. Eat everything just smaller portions of it. I think having a healthy looking body and being just happy eating what you want is a million times better and less stressful than worrying about what you eat and whats in it and how you look and how much you weigh.

Ease down on it. Istead of taking 6 a day cut down to 3, then 2 then 1 then just stop. By gradually stopping it'll be much easier to deal with the withdrawals.
