You're right, people aren't all of a sudden suicidal, they're usually depressed for a long period of time.  My little brother had a friend in high school and he was very depressed and he started giving all of his things away to his friends, which was a little wierd, and then one day he killed himself in an orchard on the outskirts of town.  It was really sad, but it's important to pick up on these things.  I think everyone's case is different, but maybe his girlfriend should talk to his parents and let them know that he's threatening to kill himself so that they'll be aware.  And maybe they should take things down a notch, it's incredible that someone would think about killing themselves over a relationship, he's really young right?  Your first love is always the hardest... maybe explain to him that this isn't the only girl for him, people break up and move on, it's a part of life.

I'm going to make a point of keeping my family together and remind my kids how important family time is.  Your family should be the most important thing when you're growing up, not video games and tv...

Reality television is probably the cheapest way of throwing together a show, and they make the most money off of ratings.  They're all the same, either based on love connection or just aimed at a single retarded purpose based around a little bit of cash.

Can dejavu be a form of a dream?  I'm the type of person that has dejavu all of the freaken time.  Sometimes I'll be sitting there, and an image will cross my mind and later I'll see it, or I have a dream about a conversation I'm going to have and I realize as I'm speaking the next thing I'm going to say.  Do you think dejavu is a form of having psychic abilities that we all pocess?  How do you explain that?

So what's the best way to teach your kids about drinking?  My mom always told me that drinking isn't cool and she's only been drunk one time and she got really sick.  I also have an alcoholic father that was always drunk from the minute he got home.  But this still didn't stop me from drinking.

Adultry has to be one of the most egregious things both men and woman
deal with on a daily basis. Desires of the heart are very hard to just lay aside
especially in emotional people because those feelings are sometimes
quite overwhelming.

I'm not so sure Jesus was speaking only of sexual "lust."

I think people need to read the Bible and get out of it what works for them. Many things should be taken metaphorically and not literally.

This is why it's important to attend church so that he can interpret the Bible in ways that we cannot always understand.  Or if you're reading your Bible and you don't understand something, you can always ask your Pastor what the meaning is.
