Jackass star, Steve-O posted in his MySpace blog about his addiction with drugs and alcohol. The post is titled “You Should All Know I Am in Rehab," and it said things like this“I'm not ready to die. I'm ready to live,” and announced he was in rehab. It goes on to say, “Upon checking into this rehab facility, it became frighteningly clear to me how lucky I am to still have any chance whatsoever at leading a happy, fulfilling, and meaningful life. At this point in my life I find myself hoping that I will be able to forgive myself for … selfish acts that my own addiction led me to commit.” He also admits that his parents were also addicted to alcohol and claimed that he was given alcohol many times as a child. Steve-O said, “While I do have guilt issues related to past behavior, I am too excited about my future behavior and the prospect of becoming a healthy parent, to let them remain an obstacle. It’s time for me to ‘hang up my hat,’ to ‘throw in the towel,’ it’s time for me to ‘call it quits.’”

I just read today that the former gov. of NY Eliot Spitzer went into therapy because of the hooker scandal that got him out of office. As part of the therapy, Spitzer will explore whether he has an addiction to sex, the source said.

I just heard they stopped selling those in the states, but you can still get them from the internet and in Europe. They must have not been good for you at all if they took them off the shelves.

Another story like this just happened to a 64-year old Floridian woman who also emptied out her 401K, SS money and even mortgaged her house. The lady was severely depressed and used gambling as an escape. In Florida alone, 9 million people played the lottery this year and 4 million visited a casino. The numbers have increased so much because of all the new casinos popping up. This is crazy, I couldn't image losing everything I worked for in life and she was probably retired and now has nothing!!
