Thats so great that you stopped! Percription pill addiction is very hard, at first I thought they could be safer because they are still perscribed pills but after experiences I've realised a pill addiction is just as bad as a normal drug addiction.

Steve-O from “Jackass” pleaded innocent on Wednesday to a cocaine possession charge stemming from his March arrest in Hollywood. He is scheduled to return for a hearing on May 13. But outside the court room as he was signing autographs for people reporting for jury duty in unrelated cases, he told reporters, “I’ve been clean for 44 days.”
I read his blog on MySpace, it seems that he has had a pretty tough life. But kudos to Steve-O for being clean!! I support him and I’m hoping he stays clean forever.

I remember when I was a kid around 13 or 14 years old we would all meet up at the movies and many of my friends who I never even considered may smoke would light one up publicly. What totally amazed me was the security guards there didn't say anything to them. I was always expecting one of them to just come up and ask for ID but it never happend. Whenever I would ask one of them if they were scared the security guard may catch them their reply was "he's just a wannabe cop he wont do shit". But they were right. They didn't do anything.

Just mention it to him in a jokingly way. Be all "man have you realised how much you've been drinking lately" or something like that and have him start talking about it. Let him know that drinking is always fun but he shouldn't let it take over his life, thats bad.

Jankowski said: I think even if marijuana became illegal, it still wouldn't become much bigger.  It's not that hard to get weed right now, so why would people go to the store to buy it overpriced when they can just get it from their neighbor or whoever is selling it.  If people don't use it now, they're probably not going to use it in the future, they'll just stick with their pills.  And if somone wants to go through a reliable source, they can just go to a doctor and get a cannabis card, which allows them to have maximum 99 plants and carry a pound with them at any time.

If someone wants to get a reliable source of weed they can get it through their doctor? I've never heard of that. Unless you have cancer though right?

I tried diong yoga for about a year, it toalyl relaxed me and soothed me. I still do totally recomend it to people. It's kind of like squeezing on a stress ball for a while after a little bit you feel less stressed. but with yoga I felt less stressed than squeezing that stupid stress ball for weeks and weeks.

but even if some countries do make it illegal many other countries wont, and websites are world wide so any country can access it. I think the whole United Nations would have to get involved with this and put a stop to it with all the countries other wise I doubt we'd have any success.

I had a friend who went anorexic, she would tell everyone that she knows cares and would try to stop her and make her eat that she does eat, but she's been working out or things like that. But whenever a stranger complimented her on how much she lost weight she would proudly statet that she doesn't eat. But thats what got her caught up, her parents took her into recovery and now she is good again. But I can tell she still thinks twice when she looks in the mirror.

I wish I was that type of person. I eat and eat and eat and its all unhealthy foods (thank god I have a fast metabolism) but I HATE excersising. I jsut get so bored on the treadmill or the bike and all those leg excersises.. noo no nope I could be enjoying my ice cream and watching my movies and going out with friends instead. I wish I liked to excersize though.

I think if I was shown a digital picture of myself 30 years from now it wouldn't make a difference to me. Here's the things that run through my head.
-I could be different than all the others
-why make myself miserable and bored when I love eating all my junky food
-there is always plastic surgery that I could have
- I'm sure they'll invent something by then to make me healthier.

Melissa said: This one guy where I work keeps drawers of candies.  He won't stop, he always has some type of candy in his mouth.  I started working there about a year ago, and since then I can tell it's gotten worse and he's gained prob. over 15 pounds.  He's increasing his chances of having health problems everytime he stuffs a chocolate or jolly rancher, etc. in his mouth.

this sounds like something I would do. I love chocolates and sweets. I'd rather have them than a normal meal. I'm not fat and I think I'm pretty healthy. But I guess my body is just sort of immune to chocolate.
My theory

I believe that when you grow up eating certain types of foods, your body just gets used to breaking them down and you don’t get as fat from them as you would other foods. For example, a person growing up eating lots and lots of bread, when they’re older they don’t gain as much weight with bread as they do with let’s say dairy products. When I grew up I ate tons and tons of sweets and chocolate, soups and meats were the healthy foods I ate, I don’t get fat from any of those things now. But if I eat rice or bread, I gain weight right away. I don’t believe in the whole calorie counter or fat counter because everybody’s bodies are different and react differently to different foods. Were not all the same in general so why do any of us follow those types of diets when no one knows our own bodies better than ourselves??

You know what I think is funny.. people will forget their kids at home alone and think "oh its okay i'll be home in a few hours" but when they forget their cell phones they have to go back and get it. I've never once forgotten my cell phone where I didn't go back and get it.

Good luck with this, I'm sure it is going to be very tough but you can make it through it. Look at the glass half full not empty, your not having affairs with your wife, and your wife loves you and is by your side to help you get through this. I'm sure you'll make it through and be good again.
Trip gone bad

I was watching the news and they were telling a story of a mother and a 13 year old son going on a trip. They got pulled over for speeding and when the cop asked where they were going the mother and the son both had different stories on where and who they were going to visit. This made the cop suspicious and asked for permission to search the car. The mother verbally accepted. He called for assistance and they began to search her car as the mother and son sat on the side walk.
It wasn’t long after they found 6 wrapped packages of a substance believed to be cocaine in the passenger side rear quarter-panel of the small car. 4 of them are believed to be one kilo packages and the other 2 half kilos, which accumulates to 5 kilos of cocaine. This is worth about $500,000 in street value.
I strongly believe that once a person becomes a parent they should put all this stuff behind them. Imagine how the child will see his mother from now on, or if he gets to see her. She could get life in prison for that and she’s getting arrested for putting her child in danger. I feel bad for the kid.

I've actually never gotten into youtube. The only thing I ever use it for is to watch music videos. Or sometimes a comedian I really like. But a lot of my friends got so into it that they jsut research things all day, then when they find something they really REALLY like, they post it up on myspace on a bulletin for everyone to see. Honestly I dont quite enjoy the things they post of, they're not entertaining to me.

I think as long as there are no signs of withdrawals it is not an addiction. I agree Mariana44
