Oo Oo this was totally me I swear!  Not so much with beer but when it came to hard liquor it was the worst.  I'd stay up drinking with my friends and my stomach was soo sensitive in the morning that I couldn't bear to even think about eating food.  So I'd end up starving myself and my first meal would be some sort of alcoholic beverage to calm my nerves.  That's prob. the worst lifestyle you could live, I can't imagine what my liver looked like at the time.

There might be a correlation between rap music and violence/drug use but the correlation is probably not much stronger today than it was 20-50 years ago.  Rock music can also be a strong influence among adolescents.  But I think drugs today are just as popular as they were back in the day..  Kids can still be into rap music, hip hop, R&B but resist drugs..

I think I'd last longer not drinking water than I would not eating food!  And 3 weeks without food??  That's not possible lol.  I might have seen a similar study but between a set of twins that ate the same foods, but one of them drank extra water and the other didn't, there was no difference in the hydration between the girls.

Hahahhaa I like the above suggestion :D  I think you should buy a puppy and leave it up to her to train it, walk it, feed it and train it.. Everyone loves puppies so you could give her that to worry about, and she'll get over all the shows that she's obsessed with.

Okay so I have an Iphone and everyone knows how you can go on the real version of the Internet, but the first thing a few people have said was, O cool so you can look at porn!??  And it's not like parents are going to put parental software on their kid's DS.  I agree with Leihdu, it's not a good idea..

My brother is in college and my parents still keep a veeery watchful eye on him because it's in college where you change the most and become the person you'll be for the rest of your life.  This is very sad though, it seems like methadone is as much a problem as meth.

Ask your friends if they have any clothes to spare that they've grown out of.. that's what I do and it's great!

This is actually pretty true, people can be prejudice about shoes it's very sad.  But it's nothing to go overboard about.  And there are lots of other important things to spend your money on.  My mother is obsessed with getting her hair done.. even if she has a centimeter of gray hair, she'll spend outrageous amounts of money to get it dyed.

You cannot go around blaming people for your addiction that's so wrong!  Everyone has their own personal choice and he made the decision to do it.... he has no room to talk, didn't he beat her up?

I think it is actually increasing because of the accesibility of technology.  I could never pull off going on a porn site at my house because my parents would check the history.  At my school though, all of the popular sites were blocked, including any porn sites.  Now, my brother can go online using his PS3 and going off of what you said, I guess I could just go to the library and take a peak lol.  But how wiiiierd would that be if you were in the library and saw someone looking at porn, that's probably why they don't have it blocked, because people actually have some shame!

There are many different types of depression, my aunt has situational depression which has prompted her to go on a leave of absence multiple times.  But like if there's a death in the family, it wouldn't be wise to go on anti-depressants because it's something you can get over with time.  But every case is different, and hopefully the right doctor can tell if you need some anti-depressants to balance you out.  But the point is to eventually come off of them, so it's critical that it be closely monitored.
But the fact is that we all go through depression, it's a part of life.  Sometimes it lasts for a week, maybe a month or two... but the important thing is that we get outselves out of it.  I'd suggest talking to your mother and really see what's bothering her deep down.

Did you know that the Bible talks about depression?  Some of the poeple that we hear the most about actualy went through a period of depression.  The Bible says that Jesus was depressed at certain points in his life.... he went through unimaginable amounts of persecution and like we would, he felt depressed about it.  Moses was depressed when God asked him to stand up to the leader of Egypt and because it was such a hard task, he felt depressed about it, not because he didn't want to, but he is human and we feel like this sometimes.  I just throught it'd be interesting to share how some people we view as great people also get depressed feelings.

"To see a black cat in your dream, indicates that you are experiencing some fear in using your psychic abilities and believing in your  intuition. You may erroneously associate the black cat with evil, destruction, and bad luck. If you see a white cat, then it denotes difficult times."

Are you experiencing anything like this that you could relate to??

Does anyone else here read their horoscope on a daily basis?  I get mine emailed to me daily through ediets and it's always right on!  I'm not the type of person to just make it fit lol... but I swear anything I'm going through can be related through my horoscope it's amazing!  It gives me a set understanding like I can really get through this, or it makes me appreciate my positive energy for the day.

I ususally just say I'm tired, or I'm going to just chill at so and so's house.  That usually works, but then you get those people that are like Wow, that's really lame.. have fun with that!  It feels kind of akward at first, but then you learn to appreciate it.  I work so much during the week, by the time the weekend comes around I just want to catch up on sleep!

It's good that he believes in God in the first place, but there are many things to think about.  God wants us to grow as Christians, and we need to be careful which people we choose to apart of our lives.  Honestly I'd rather be married to someone who has the exact same beliefs as me.

People who choose to make meth, sell to kids and adults with families, have no regard for anything real in life.  They probably didn't even think twice about the idea before they decided to go through with it.

Well I just went to www.ediets.com and filled out my information and subscribed for some free services, and at the end it asks you if you want to be emailed diet plans, bla bla, then it asks if you want to be emailed your daily horoscope.  I actually love this one, it's always soo right, and I'll even tell other people what theirs says and they're like woow that's crazy! lol

He's a total scumbag!  I once saw a story on the news about a dentist that would put people to sleep in order to do dental work, which is normal, but then he would proceed to undress his patients, and grab their breasts!  I couldn't believe it, and he got in soo much trouble for it!
But actually, with your story, I agree with his sentence to be charged with trading drugs for sex, because both people were wrong even though they both consented to it... he should get in trouble too because you need to trust people who are in healthcare and law enforcement to not take advantage of you!

This is so flipplen true!  Have you ever seen a brain scan of someone on drugs compared to someone that's not?  It's like, they don't have the brain capacity to be sympathetic and know that people deserve to be told the truth, it's easier for them to lie about it cuz they don't want to care.
Woman Burned in Meth Lab Explosion

Investigators believe a woman may have acted as a human torch after catching fire Monday, then igniting chemicals used to make methamphetamine in her basement.  They said they believe camping fuel used in manufacturing meth was left on a wood-burning stove.  The woman may have tried to pick up the container and dropped it, causing it to spill on her pants and catch fire.  As she ran through the basement, the flames from her body may have ignited other flammable chemicals found in the room
Animal control officers seized several puppies from the property.  A chihuahua and a bird died in the fire.  Officers found two meth labs in the injured woman's basement, one in her car and another in a shed.  Detectives said they had seized two meth labs from the property in the past.

Reading is very healthy for us :)  It's nice to just relax our minds and lose ourselves in a good book.  My favorite book of all time is 'A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.'
