Hmm, this might work for me.  Because cigarette breaks at my building ar horrible.   Everyone encourages each other to smoke and I can't stick with a healthy decision.  But if everyone got together to make a goal of quitting, then everyone could come together and support each other.  And smoking wouldn't seem like a cool thing anymore.

Then shouldn't her doctor prescribe her something different like Ibuprofen?  I think those are a lot less addictive.  And also it'd be a good idea to let her doctor know about her past so that he can monitor the dosages.
Video Game Addiction Equals Babies Starving

In Reno, Nevada a couple authorities say were so obsessed with the Internet and computer games that they left babies starving and suffering other health problems have plead guilty to child neglect.  Michael Straw, 25 and Iana Straw, 23 plead guilty Friday to two counts each of child neglect.  Each faces a maximum 12-year prison sentence.  According to the prosecutor, the couple was too distracted by online computer video games, particularly the fantasy role playing "Dungeons and Dragons" series, to give their children proper care.  They had food, they just chose not to give it to their kids because they were too busy playing video games.  When police found the girl and took her to the hospital the staff had to shave her hair because it was matted with cat urine.  The 10-pound girl also had a mouth infection, dry skin and dehydration.  The brother was also treated for starvation as well as a genital infection, because of a lack in muscle development he had difficulties walking.
Apparently Michael, the father, received $50,000 from inheritance that 'he spent on computer equipment and a large plasma televsion.  It is hard to know whether or not video game addiction is a true psychological disorder.  It is very possible, seeing people pull all nighters playing computer video games, pausing only to use the bathroom.

Andrew jones stole more than $17,000 from his blind grandfather to pay for this gambling addiction.  Vulnerable and blind, George Kendrick saved money to pay for his own funeral.  But as he grew older he decided to entrust his savings and pensions to his grandson.  But Liverpool Crown Court heard the 36-year-old mercilessly plundered his elderly grandfather's account.  The scam left the previously healthy Mr. Kendrick heartbroken and devastated and he was taken into a nursing home.  He died shortly after hearing Jones had admitted to the theft.
Jones had emptied the former postman's savings account of more than $8,000 leaving him with an $86 overdraft.  He also drained his grandfather's pensions- taking $40 a month.  Jones admitted to12 charges of theft over four years- totalling $17,366.
It seems gambling and drugs completely took over this guys life, motivating him to steal from his own grandfather.  He was involved in his death also, because how could he live knowing his own grandson could be so heartless?  Why didn't he get help in the first place?  I'm sure his grandfather would've supported his treatment, right?

A couple in Hong Kong had a heated quarrel over the wife's gambling obsession.  In the end, the husband, Mr. Zhang got an earful- literally!  The 50-year-old allegedly bit his wife's ear so severely that her ear lobe was almost ripped off, leaving her in excruciating pain.  The wife, Madam Zhang, 51, is a homemaker who takes care of their two sons, 11 and 14.
After her husband and sons went off to work and school, she would tend to their home.  Her gambling addiction got so bad that she was never home to cook dinner for her family, relying instead on buying takeaway meals for them.  The couple were often heard quabbling, but on Monday night, their squabbling started late at night and went on till 3 am the next day.
In a fit of rage, Mr. Zhang then allegedly bit his wife's left ear, till the ear was almost severed.  He was then later arrested by police and his wife was immediately taken to the hospital so her ear could be sewn back on.     A counselor from Problem Gambling reported that the number of women gamblers are on the rise in Hong Kong, the figures have risen 10-12 percent in 2 years.

Kids as young as 5 are getting schooled in drug education around the nation.  It covers everything from safety and rules in medication, prescribed drugs, through the effects of tobacco, alcohol and solvents, as well as how they can resist peer pressure.  I think this is a great idea, because if kids aren't getting these talks at home, at least they'll get the right influence at school.

The eating habits of your parents influence a lot how we eat.  If you mom has a negative body image, then you're more than likely going to feel the same way about your body.  My mom always told me how beautiful my legs were and that I have a wonderful shape.  Even at times when I completely disagreed with her, the advice and support she showed me saved me problems with unhealthy eating.  It's important to show your kids how to have a healthy relationship with food.  I cannot be on a diet around my mom, she loves to cook for me and make sure I'm eating.  But she also encourages me to work out, which is good too.

I could never get that done, yuck!  Let me just stick this needle in your face, no thank you LOL.  I may change my mind when I'm older but still, she probably doesn't even look the way she did before.  Most people end up regretting all of that plastic surgery that they get. And it's so expensive!
