Vicoden is quite easy to wind up addicted to. She might be better off getting a different prescription drug that isn't as habit forming.

If she drinks alcohol, then she must get off one or the other, as alcohol mixed with hydrocodone can have some nasty effects on the liver.

Ah yes, the old "steal from the company" trick. I remember when I caught someone in the act of pocketing medicine back when I worked in a hospital. The jackass had the nerve to threaten to kick my ass if I told anyone.

Yeah, you're what? A 97lbs woman who's 45, has no combat skill and is high on drugs. Me? I'm 18, weigh in at 130lbs, been in the odd scrap, studied Judo in my spare time, and looking for the PERFECT excuse to try it out.

Yeah, she was asked to quit without a reference after I grassed her in. Decided to quit after that, not working for somewhere that lets someone steal medicine and threaten other staff and practically get away with it.

Like being the handyman was good pay.

I was gonna recommend Benzodiazepine, but that's even more addictive than diazepam, as your body can build up a tolerance to it.

Perhaps you could try finding a practical way to do something about panic attacks, or if that doesn't work, look into some beta blockers. They're used to treat nervousness and phobias, sometimes they're even used to combat stage fright and all that.

Like just about every psychological treatment on the market, they have a LOT of nasty side effects, so you should really talk to a doctor and ask what you can take. I ain't a doctor at all, so ask one

Yup, I do quite a bit of drinking around Christmas and New Years, but that's really the only time I actually drink. I have the odd drink every now and then but even at Christmas I don't get drunk off my arse and wind up wearing someone else's underwear on my head

Well, with me lacking a sense of empathy for some reason, it hardly hits me at all. I don't know why I lack empathy, I just do.

It's the main reason I rarely attend funerals, people always think of me as a dickhead for not crying my eyes out. Well EXCUSE ME because I'm a little different.

Shame, I really liked that guy, he was still young as well and a brilliant actor. Sad that he had to die, why is it the good ones die young and the assholes stay standing. Life works in mysterious ways.

Nah, couldn't get the PhD, that stuff is hard Quenlin. And yes, doctors are zealous, remember that one doctor that diagnosed me on the grounds of "atypical interests"? It was then I understood why doctors get assaulted.

Force him into rehab, nothing good comes from snorting crack. Get him into it before he winds up with a huge hole where his nose used to be. Yes, snorting will corrode your nose and just leave a gaping hole where it used to be.

Be a parent, and a friend today.

Really interesting that, never knew it was used almost 10000 years ago, and that the Church was one of the reasons that it got banned a few hundred years ago. As well as people not wanting hemp paper on the market.

Very little, I bet on sports and I'm a good judge of what team will win. And I bet on the end result, not who wins. Like 2-1 to Rangers while someone bets 2-0 to Rangers.

Easy to take advantage of gullible sports fanatics.

Some dealers leave little samples lying around so that they can try and get a potential customer addicted to the drug. Or, in more cruel cases, leave a deadly drug like ecstasy lying around hoping that some kid will swallow it and have a bad reaction to it.

Wow, it's that simple to talk someone out of an attack? Huh, and I thought that my psychology studies would've taught me that, I should read up on hysterias and the like a bit more. I was gonna recommend a few unorthodox methods, which would get me struck off probably, but that works.

Quite daft to buy a crapload of things to make yourself feel better if you're dying, that money is better spent on treatment, and if the disease is truly incurable, traveling the world, going on vacation, getting some good karma, that kind of thing. I should give that book a read, although I hardly have any stuff other than my books, I hate ornaments.

What disease did she have by the way?

Same with me, if people want me to talk to them at 4am, catch me on nightshift, cause it ain't gonna happen when I want to unwind and get some sleep for once.

Everyone on my MSN list might be an insomniac, and some even put me to shame, but only a half-dozen people on that list are allowed to bug me that early in the morning.

How do they get those numbers anyway?

I always see studies that say "x% of people in Y smoke/snort/inject B", how do they get those numbers anyway? It's not as though anyone will admit to injecting heroin for a survey.

Wee boy: "Yes, I'm doing a survey, have you done any illegal drugs recently?"

Grizzly old man with wrinkles and little hair: "Uh yeah man, I smoked 4 grams of Mary Jane, snorted $50 of cocaine and injected heroin and did pills all weekend."

Wee boy: "Thanks mister, how old are you?

Old man: "Fifteen."

Yeah, like that happens.

Sites like that should be ripped off the internet. Anyone who promotes anorexia and bulimia is a complete and total bastard. It's sick, and the sight of an anorexic, or the mental image of someone gorging themselves and then throwing up makes me want to puke as well.

It's perfectly possible to live on a diet of chocolate, I'm not kidding. Yeah, it does make you feel good, but I doubt the minuscule effect is enough to become addicted to the mild europha. You can be addicted to chocolate, but not the europha effect, it's just too weak.

Aye, Aspergers Syndrome comes with some rather eccentric traits, but they grow out of them eventually, I did. I used to always scrape the batter off things and eat it later.

And I doubt odd eating habits are addiction-related.

that's true, there's a movie, I can't remember the name right now, but it shows a guy who goes to mc donalds three times a day(breakfast, lunch and dinner), for a period of 30 days, the results are scary...

I think it's called Supersize Me, that was a really good movie. Just shows what can happen in a single month.

I haven't eaten fast food in a while, though I do frequent the chinese buffet downtown, mainly cause I have the hots for the girl that works there, and the chef knows how to cook. He used to fry everything and eat a lot, but when he almost had a serious heart attack, the food has become much healthier and he went from 300lbs to 110lbs in a year.

I'm quite superstitious myself, despite having excellent scientific knowledge and not being religious at all. One of my biggest superstitions is that it's bad luck to have someones usual chair at the table if they can't be there for dinner. So yeah, I stick it elsewhere.

It originates from a tradition of not sitting in the usual spot of a recently-deceased person.

I still say it's just the awareness, autism and aspergers syndrome have only recently begun to be diagnosed. And that vaccine, we don't know why there is a link, and we can't explain why it happens either. Still, I encourage people to get them all separately. More expensive, but dealing with an autistic child can be very difficult for inexperienced people in severe cases.

Ever heard of Cushings? That is a really nasty stress-related illness, and I mean REALLY nasty. The effects of it can be worse than a nasty stroke.

I get that sometimes, when I get stressed out really bad, I start losing my breath, and my patience and tolerance at an alarming rate. Hell, it's on my freaking medical record that stress can provoke violent reactions from me, people have learned that the hard way for not respecting the fact that I get like that.

She's going to wind up with permanent damage if she drank that much in a short timeframe. She was a complete imbecile to drink that much, AND drive. How can someone that drunk even start a car?

We gotta make starting cars harder, so it's harder for a drunk to get on the road.

Boris Nikolayevich Yeltsin died April 23rd last year at age 76. Which is enough proof that lots of vodka will kill you. Yeah, he did have a drinking problem, but he wasn't a bad guy, better than most of the politicians we have in these modern times. He was also man enough to resign and admit to his screwups.
