Even the animated shows like Family Guy has too many sexual subjects.... and who likes to watch Family Guy? Kids do! I know that is my son's favorite show. It bothers me that even the cartoons have to be about sex. Children learn about sex at a much earlier age than when I was a kid.

Family Guy is NOT a kids show, it's rated 15 in the UK and TV-14 in the US. Besides, most of the sex in Family Guy is innuendo and sexual jokes. Nothing compared to what I've seen, ever read Chobits? Quite a lot of sexual themes in that.

Of course they can, since the chemicals become even more imbalanced, then they'll cause more vivid and crazy hallucinations. I doubt they'll cancel out though, don't try it, it'll just mess you right up.

I heard that before, and it is true. The novelty of it wears off if you will. But if you abstain from it, it'll probably heal on its own after a while.

I'm no androcologyst though, ask one yourself.

I saw that on a billboard once, and I have to say that it's true. It's a genuine problem, and with parents thinking "My kid wouldn't do that." all the time, it can go unnoticed.

Keep in mind that a serious gambling problem can be classed as insanity. I think that they should be locked up and given therapy as well. I don't believe that anyone should be exempted from the law.

I think it's a good thing, World of Warcraft was a huge hit, and it makes millions upon millions of dollars from the monthly fees.

It's easy to get hooked though, mainly because you actually have a challenge in online gaming. And there is real teamwork involved in some FPS games, not crummy AI.

Reality shows bore me to death, I don't get what makes them so popular anyway. If I want to see someone make a spectacle of themselves, I'll set up a soapbox and wait for someone with a crazy opinion to show up.

I never watch them, they make me puke, especially American Idol or whatever it is.

Yeah, and Harry Potter is Satanic and the number 13 is unlucky.

The so-called epidemic is nothing more than greatly increased awareness of it. If someone points out how rude something is, you'll notice the world and its wife starts doing it. Besides, autism is something you're born with, it's not an afflicted illness.

$700? $100 a day for not watching a second of TV? Oh come on, anyone who can't make that needs dire help, give me $400/week and I'll do that no problem. TV is crap anyway, that's a fact.

Turn off the TV, and if he gets violent, smack him and send him to his room for the rest of the night, ground him for a week.

He has to learn that it's your TV, not his, and you decide if it's on or off. And like the others said, he has serious discipline issues. Give him some shock treatment.

Meth, or methamphetamine, is a drug that causes europha when snorted, injected or smoked. Its got a few medical qualities but it's largely illegal due to how easy it is to get addicted and how abusable it is.

It sells at $150/gram in pure form, and several drug dealers have a meth lab in the boot of their car. It's also rumored that they carry a rocket as well to dispose of Meth in case the cops show up.

Nah, intoxicated or not, if you're unconscious, you're unconscious.

It's just random garbage that you just babble, I sometimes get really weird thoughts in my head when I try to sleep. I'm seriously considering writing them down so I have something worth posting on my Deviant Art.

I completely agree. I remember one teacher at my old school getting the sack for saying than contraceptives were wrong, schools are supposed to be as neutral as possible, and I have to say that all the years I've been in school, nothing that a single teacher has said has provoked a single bigoted thought.

They say that 95% of teens have smoked weed at least once

I'm one of the 70% that thinks that is a lot of BS, and one of the 12% who agree that most statistics are made up on the spot.

Unless those kids are total liars, or they interviewed every 13-19 y/o that's currently in rehab, there is no way that 95% of teens have smoked weed at least once.

Who else thinks that this statistic is just made up? I think it is, because I don't see it on any reliable source on the internet.

Alcohol to the gullet, not the bucket.

I prefer shandies, I hardly drink at all except at parties, can't stand hangovers. Wine is alright though, but I prefer red wines, good for you too.

Either that, or it's just something said by the mysterious They.

You really should take them, because if you start yelling and screaming at someone, the slightest touch against them could result in you being charged with high-degree assault.

They're not fake or some big joke, they do exist, and they do help. My ex-girlfriend got into one after she made a huge scene in a fancy restaurant which resulting in a waiter getting slapped. Whole thing was over the wrong drink being brought to the table, hence why she's my ex.

Good thing they get fined too. It's nothing more than child endangerment, and even worse if the windows are shut. It's a disgusting habit already, and just plain rude to smoke in a small confined space.

Smoking in a car while you're driving should be illegal. Full stop.

One thing that annoys me about my family is that none of them talk while eating dinner, because they're far too busy watching TV. Now, I'm not one to believe that "Families who watch TV at dinner will have kids who are more likely to drink" BS, but it does annoy me when a social event where everyone sits at the table, is in utter silence save for "pass the salt."

You would be surprised how many people cyber over roleplay channels on the IRC. Some go a tad too far though, but it's always entertaining to watch people prove that they know absolutely nothing about anatomy. XD

You need to learn that if you ditch someone because they're not good at sex, then you don't deserve to have a lover anyway. Theres more to a relationship than what goes on between the sheets. I've known my current girlfriend for 7 years and I haven't even seen her naked, and the last time I ditched one over sex is because I'm not into the whole BDSM thing.

A man is not a life support system for a penis.

Having sex with someone that's infected is what gives an STD. Although, STDs are caught, they don't just spring out of a hole in the ground. Only way to avoid them is not to sleep around with everything on two legs, and use a condom as well.

If people were to follow such simple steps, AIDS and HIV wouldn't be such a huge problem.

GAAAAAHH!!!!!

Alright, I already did this in a 3 page essay for school, so let me just sum it up here.

There is a huge difference between child molestation and pedophilia. A child molester is someone that has actually sexually abused a child, but they are not necessarily pedophiles. A pedophile is someone who has a sexual attraction to minors, but it doesn't mean they have sex with them.

It's like saying that all gay people have had sex with someone of the same gender.

Pedophilia is a sexual preference. A child molester is someone who has actually sexually abused a child in some way.

Being a child molester is a crime. Being a pedophile isn't. Do your research.

Censoring death from kids. Uh... excuse me?
1/23/2008 5:21:00 PM Aries

Why is it that people go to great lengths not to let little kids know what death is? It's completely ridiculous? What are you going to do when your sons grampa, whom he loves with all his heart, dies? Will you tell him or not?

Sure, telling him might scare him a little, and provoke 27378 questions over a few months, but it's better for him to know that his grampa died. If he doesn't find out, he'll suddenly realize that he hasn't seen him in a while, and he'll think that his grampa hates him, or that he did something wrong.

Hardly a catch-22, best to explain it, even if they're only like 6 or 7. Things die, it happens, nobody likes it when a loved one dies, but it still happens. We all understand that we die eventually.

We all handle death differently, me for example, I don't give two damns if someone dies unless they were close to me. If I don't know you, I wont twitch. If your a major celeb, I'll joke about it. If I hate you, I'll spit on your grave.

If I loved you, I'll attend your funeral, say a eulogy, pay my respects frequently and execute your will to the letter if I'm appointed to do so.
