Lol I thought this was kind of funny but also sad. Seven middle aged Spanish mothers posed for a tongue-in-cheek nude calendar, which is a fundraiser for their children’s tiny rural school. But now they are loaded with debt and 5000 unwanted copies.  One of the pictures shows the mother’s with Christmas tinsels as their only clothe. Other goofy poses included a shotgun toting mother wearing only a fox pelt and kneeling on a table. Another picture shows a woman covering her body with a red umbrella on a picnic table.
I thought it was funny that no one wanted to buy it. But when this happened in Britain in 2000 to raise money for leukemia research they made a million pounds and they turned their story into a movie, “Calendar Girls”.
I don’t know, but my husband would NEVER let me do that. And I wouldn’t want to either, imagine if my kids would ever see that.

A mother left her 12 year old daughter and two other kids with 18 year old Nicole Russell, whom she thought was a responsible teenager. But Russell is now arrested. She started teaching the kids a drinking game called ring of fire with a bottle of rum. Deputies found the 12 year old girl barely conscious and in her bed. She is doing better now but the drinking game nearly killed her. Police also found several devices for smoking marijuana in the home. Russell told deputies that she wasn’t playing the game because she was in bed with an upset stomach the whole time.
I’m so picky about who I leave to babysit my kids. I normally don’t let anyone unless it’s my niece or an grandma. I had our maid do it once too but they got too bored with her. But its times like these where I’m glad I don’t trust anyone other than direct family or someone we’ve known for a long time.

You wont be able to eat a banana after wards if you drank 99 bananas the night before!
I take an asprin and drink tons of water and just stay sleeping the whole time. The worst though is having a flight during ur hangover..

I guess they are kind of like adult arcades, except you could get verrry lucky with one, or lose big time with it. But it just depends which one you get a kick out of.

I think a working enviorment should always be a drug free enviorment. If people want to do drusg they should do it on their own time and not come to work intoxicated and get paid for that.

Wow I think you are the first recovered alcoholic that I've heard of that can drink after recovery. All the ones I know take it too far and end up relapsing and drinking just as much as they used to right after their first sip.

Every recovered addict has that voice in the back of their heads, but it doesn't mean you should ever listen to it. Its cravings, your mind still wants it because it liked it. But your body knows its bad for you and thats the aprt you need to listen to. Don't give in to the little voice and stay sober forever. Sobriety is the best feeling!

Do you guys remember that one ice cream with all the sprinkles all on it. They made that one commercial for it where the guy would take a bite and then he'd turn into all sprinkles? Well I was obsessed with that ice cream. For about 2 weeks that was all I ate. And then I just couldn't eat it anymore. Now I would like to have one but they stopped making them.

I think a lot of sleeping pills are very addictive. Aren't most of them except for the herbal ones? I wouldn't trust taking sleeping pills. I had a friend who kept taking muscle relaxers to sleep and for about a year she couldn't sleep without them. She knew she was developing a bad habit and after a while she stopped cold turkey. It was hard for her to sleep right when she quit but a few weeks later she was good and could sleep at a normal bed time.

If doctors are just signing anything then why are there even perscriptions? Thats dumb. I think they should try harder to put a stop to this. I wonder if these drugs are coming from america though.

I vary because sometimes I'll go shopping a lot and others I wont shop for a few months. But usually I'd say around $400 a month. But the thing with me is I wont buy cheap stuff, so I'll just buy expensive things and not have a lot. So then I just buy mroe and more expensive things. But when I try buying cheap things I just dont wear them.

I had a problem with this too. My Macys card. I had to pay $1400. I ended up returning all the things I havent worn. But even that only brought it down to 900. I had a coach purse I bought from there and I was totally in love with it but I only wore it like 3 times and I had to return that too :(. It was heart breaking.

I wonder if these parents know that this is so bad for their kids and that it could develop an addiction. Maybe if they knew more about it they wouldn't be so neglectful and careless enough to give baby's hardcore drugs and dangerous drugs. It's like injecting them with heroin!!

Arrork said: But children should be able to decide for themselves whether or not they agree with homosexuality.  If a book is read to them when they're still in 2nd or 3rd grade, of course the teacher is going to want to discuss the book and shes going to be biased about it.  I can see a lot of conservative parents getting pissed about this, but then I guess it gives the children both views on the topic.  To me it just doesn't seem right because they're so young.

I think the reason why they may read the book is to make the homosexual situations normal for children so that they woudln't ask questions. Children grow up with knowing about males and femals getting married, when was the last time you heard a child question about that? Its understandable to them because they grew up with it. If they grow up with same sex marriages and different sex marriages then thats normal to them too. We cant shelter this from them and they're going to find out sooner or later. But if parents want them to never be homosexual then its up to them to teach them that they shouldn't do  it. I grew up with my parents not wanting me to date, they made that clear and I always grew up with the vision that dating before a certain age is wrong. Parents can do the same thing for homosexuality also. But when it comes down it as the child is older they're going to make their own decisions.

Pharmaceutical companies will soon rule the world if we keep letting them believe we are a happy, functional society so long as all the women are on Prozac, all children on Ritalin, and all men on Viagra.  ~The Quote Garden

Did you know America ranks the lowest in education but the highest in drug use?  It's nice to be number one, but we can fix that.  All we need to do is start the war on education.  If it's anywhere near as successful as our war on drugs, in no time we'll all be hooked on phonics.  ~Leighann Lord
