Hi there, I would just like to make a suggestion, it would be nice if you could add an edit option I'm not sure if you will be able to do it on this board but if you can i would like it if you added an edit button because in a thread i accidently pressed update and i was supposed to press preview.

I second that suggestion. I've seen a few typos I have made and had no way to go back and modify them at all. That would indeed be a great feature to have. Also, if you would ever like to just delete your post and start all over again, a delete option would be good too, even if it is rarely used.

From personal experience, edit buttons are more trouble than they're worth, it's too easy to offend a huge amount of people, and then edit your post to make them sound like the bad guys. I see it all the time.

Although, deleting posts would be a good feature to have.
Lowercase name after the update? Change it in your profile.

I think in that case there should be a place showing that the original post has been edited and then we should have to give a reason why. Yeah, it happens more often than not on these boards where people completely change their original post. Maybe a better suggestion would be to allow 15 minutes after posting for editing, and then after that you are stuck with what you have posted.

Yes, deleting posts WOULD be really good, especially when members (like me, for instance) accidentally double-post, like I just did in another thread!

I have seen this happen quite a lot. I will see the same thread over and over like three times. Sometimes I don't know which one to reply to.

What bugs me is when a double-post will be made because there is a lag in the browser and I'm not sure if the post showed up, so I'll hit "update" or "submit," and to my horror, there will be two posts when one was intended,
