Do you not think this is a bit innappropriate - you are seeking out a world audiance but are highlighting christianity - should not the forum be Recovering faith, so all faiths can take part?

I agree about this. I mean, It doesn't matter to me, but I think all Religions should be able to take part in this as well, not just Christians. Good suggestion!

yeah i agree with this too because there are plenty of people from different religions that need support, from god too so it should just say "religion" or something like that

I think religion is a free choice. The forum doesn't say Christians ONLy, get over it, it is what you make it ayy?

Well, yeah, but its a Christian category? Who else is going to go in there saying something about a different religion? Its basically Christians only mate.

I don't think it's because they don't want other religions up there, it's probably just a space issue... After all, isn't March "Black History Month"? What would happen if someone came up with June as "White History Month"? People would be upset about that. What I'm getting at is that you can never please everyone. One other thought, I bet that if the people at Addicted were African American, they would have a thread called "Recovering African American's" but if they were white and put up "Recovery White's", they'd be shot! By the way, everyone out there who thinks there should be more religion categories on here, what religion are you? Now I'm curious what all the fuss is about.

A bit of a dicky attitude there Steve? The suggestion was only to rename a forum catagory to make it more appealing for memebrs which is presumably waht the owner would want?

I think that anyone who really wants to go in there and post will. if you have looked in there you will see that.

Instead of saying it is not appropriate, welcome it and suggest that there be other faiths sections added as well.

How about we just skip the political correctness and just post as a recovering Jew/Islamic/Buddhist/whatever? I seriously doubt anyone would even raise an eyebrow to it.

And FYI, February is black history month, not march.

And in terms of my own faith, I'm a strict atheist.

I was going to suggest something similar. Leave the Christian board there. As well all can see, it has many threads and seems to stay busy for the most part. However, why not add some more as Quenlin suggested, such as "Spiritual: Recovery, non demoninational" or " Mormons in Recovery" etc.

I never suggested that, I mean just keep them all on one thing. Besides, add one denomination, you'll probably wind up adding all of them.

I guess Recovering with Faith would work, but it's fine how it is just now.
