Why again?

If you read the SF Chronical then I'm sure you have already heard this story. I come from a small town (not even 100,000 peope) and I have lived here all but three years of my life. There is a sad trend going on here though and it's heart breaking. My high school has lost 5 graduates (one including my ex boyfriend, and two others were brothers :( ). A couple other guys have died too from the other local high schools. It's just so sad and when my ex died, it was awful! I still cry about it to this day and I find myself looking at old pictures of us. It's just so weird how such a small town has lost so many guys to the same thing. Another one went this summer and it just brings back so many painful memories. When will this pain go away? Will it ever? I feel for all the military wives and families; you'll be in my prayers.
Re: Why again?
How exactly are they dying? I do not see where you state that at? But yes it is a terrible loss? It must be affecting your town a great amount.

It is hard to say but we all feel for your loss. Hopefully one day you will be able to move on but always hold the memory of that person in your heart.

I'm so sorry :(. 4 guys that graduated with me 2 years ago have also died in Iraq. I was really touched by one of their deaths because he was so close to me, but now everytime I hear about anyone dying in war I get so sad about it.

2 of the people I graduated with died just this year, one of them was an ex boyfriend and we ended on bad terms but he was such a sweet guy and I just wish I could've made more of an effort to be friends with him. He died in a drunk driving accident, the driver was drunk and he was in the back seat, they hit a pole and he was in critical condition. Him and the other passenger in the back seat died that night. He's in all our hearts. Another one of the people I graduated with died in Iraq, I dont really know the details of how. But I think its just so sad how all these people are dying in Iraq and yet we dont seem to be making any thign better.
