I am the parent of a teenage heroin/crack addict now in recovery. He went through 2 outpatient and 5 residential treatment programs. I have learned so much on this journey and I'm sure it ain't over yet. I have a blog about my discoveries at www.motherwarriors.blogspot.com. I invite you to visit and comment and share your own discoveries (like apple juice in a backpack is sometimes someone else's urine for drug screens; or like community support of binge drinking events doesn't really make sense). wow you do know a lot about these things. I never knew apple juice was sometimes someone elses urine. lol

That is nice to hear, I hope your son/daughter will get out of the addiction soon, have you ever thought about giving lectures at schools and hospitals showing your case? That would be a great thing :)

lol cant people working in the labs detect that its apple juice? Apple juice smells like apple juice.
