My girlfriend is now addicted to alcohol

It used to be just one bottle like, every other week, but now she's just quaffing down several bottles every few days. It gets to the point that she winds up unconcious and one of us ends up having to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't choke on her own vomit.

She refuses to get help, and thinks that she doesn't have a problem. I'm pretty sure she has a drinking problem if we take turns to keep an eye on her at home and were there like, every 2-3 days.

Any advice? Cause she is a really good friend of ours, and we don't want to drive her over the edge by just ditching her.

record her when shes drunk and crazy and when sehs vomitting and you guys taking care of her. Maybe if she sees it she can realise that she does have a problem and that she does need to stop.

Yeah you need to actually find out if she recognises that she has a problem before you can take action on how to help her, let her know how its affecting you all and that your worried, definitely record her and remind her of the night before and see what reaction you get.

If she doesnt think she has a problem then its going to be hard to help her as she cant see what she is doing wrong and probably thinks everyone is just nagging and being extreme, so try and talk to her and let her know but I agree she needs to see what she is doing and how bad it has got and hope that shakes her a little and she then starts to realise. Some people cant be helped unless they want help. Good luck.
