Do you have any advice for those needing an intervention but will most likely never get one? My family doesn't know I'm an avid drug user but I desperately am looking for answers. My drug of choice is Oxy and I feel like it has robbed the life of me, I need help

what about for people in need of intervention but not wanting it at all?

Well to answer the first question. If you feel as though drugs are robbing you of your life, you are half-way there. That is the truth and for an addict to get an honest look at him/herself is a miracle. I would suggest taking advantage of this moment of clarity and finding a place to kick. Then depending on your situation A.) enter a treatment program or B.) proceed to an NA or AA meeting and identify as a new comer. Am I making sense so far?

To answer the second question if you think an intervention wouldn't work for you than you are not unlike most the people I meet. However, if once the process is complete and you don't want to give treatment a chance, then you are 1 out of 10. 90% of those we intervene upon or higher enter treatment.

What if you cant prove that this person is addicted to drugs and is in need for an intervention but you really really suspect it.
