My former partner was just beginning to develop a problem with Cocaine. I told him that I'd done it in the past and I think it made him a little insecure, but he felt comfortable doing it. After he got so into it, it's like it was the only thing that he would get excited about and that just made me feel so empty inside. I think with a boyfriend, all you can do is cope with them and try everything you think might make them quit. But it's a tough thing to change a boyfriend, your husband is a different story. But unless you're totally comitted to a man 100%, it's difficult to get through to them.

But the fact is, if you're with them and they're not doing it, that's something to be happy about. I remember talking to him about it and he's said if I was addicted to it, I'd do it anyway, even if you said No, I don't want you to. So that made me feel a little better, but the best thing you can do is talk about it. If you just leave it, then it will only get worse.

My boyfriend is struggling with a cocaine addiction, he used to do it everyday, and now he does it every once in a while.  Everytime I find out I get soo mad and overwhelmed but I'm learning to deal with it because he is trying so hard to stop.  It's just that most of his friends do it too and it makes me so mad when he thinks he can hang around them and not do it.

Anyone else notice the sheer irony in someone telling people on an online forum that they want to get over an internet addiction? No offense, just making a joke, but just get something interesting in your life, like exploring or going out with friends.

haha that is true. But I guess if your going to spend so much time online you might as well get the help you need.
Jamaicamecrazy you should take a trip with your fiance, no computers, just you and him and realise that you can have fun without the internet! That'll be your first kick and then just start getting involved in other hobbies..

I know that should be a good thing but we have too many kids for him to be constantly wanting all the attention and stuff so we are here to work through both of these things together!
