I used drugs atleast 3 to 4 times a week from the age of 14-20. My drugs of choice were Marijuana and Crystal meth. I smoked marijuana much more than i used meth though, just because it was a bit easier to get a hold of. Also thats what was always around, my friends would always do it and I loved it. I never realised how much it was tearing my life apart. I still kept my grades up in high school even though I was high most the time, but in college things started getting out of hand, and everyone noticed it. I lost my scholarship and had to transfer to a community college. I lost so many of my friends, I was job less and everything was falling apart. But then I met Ben, and he helped me get back on my feet. He was my motivation and was always there wehn I needed help. I started going to NA meetings, I attended church regularly, and slowly but surely I sobered up. I remember on january 2nd of 2005, I swore to my self that I will never touch drugs again, and I've been true to my word since then. Ben and I got married last month and I couldn't be any happier :)

Good to hear that you were able to get off the drugs. Good thing that you're sticking with your new years resolution as well.

Congratulations on your recovery.

Wow your story is very inspiring. It's good to hear that you got sober.. Do you think if you didn't meet Ben that you would have stayed the way you were though?

Good job on getting yourself cleaned up, and you better stick to staying off drugs while you're at it.

Congratulations on it again, more people cured the better. No matter what.

Your story is very inspiring, especially to those who are still in the process of recovery and maybe not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, yet. Congratulations on your marriage, you are lucky and blessed to have found the right man for you.
