Looking back two years ago my life seemed to perfect. I had a scholarship, I was in college, had a great job, friends, all that and I threw it all away without even realising it for a little white drug called crystal meth. I started doing meth at 19 and I'm 21 and I cant seem to go without it but I know its messing me up so much. I lost my job, my family, my friends, i pushed it all away from me and now I feel like nothing. I know I need to quit and get back on track. I just hope I can.

You can get all of that back one day, you just have to work hard to get it. A life on drugs is no life at all, addiction only leads to sorrow. I suggest getting clean, then working on getting a steady job and finishing school, and your relationships and friends will come back to you in no time.

this is kind of off topic but what made you want to quit? I'm trying to help my boyfriend but I need him to be motivated..
I hope you do quit tho and you really can get all of that back.

Everyone has a different reason for wanting to quit, and being able to quit. One thing I know is that you cannot force anyone to want to quit, it has to be their desicison and for their own personal reasons, whatever they may be. otherwise you are just wasting your time, but at the same time never ever ever give up on someone because there is always hope.

I think you can do it GusGoose (cute name btw) but as long as you the will and motivation all you need is a little help and a push and you can be sober again. Just try, dont put it off for the next day and dont feel ashamed to ask for help. Good luck =)
I was addicted to this same drug and it was very hard to quit, but I had the motivation and i wanted to be sober more than anything, and I was pretty badly addicted. If I can do it I'm 100% sure you can.

There is no good in continuing with a thing which has ruined your life. You have lost your family, friends,job everything just because of the Meth. I think you need to think about and say big NO to it. Until and unless you make your mind you are never going to quit it.

Rehab or NA is prob. the best option for you right now.  When I was attending rehab I think about half the people there were former meth users. Their stories absolutely blew my mind away.  I met a guy a few times there and he used to be so addicted that one day he decided to blow up his heart by overdosing on crack and meth.  Thankfully he's still alive... but this drug has taken everything from his life and everything he had on the inside.  Everytime he says the word meth, he starts rubbing his face in agony.  He's still married and has a little girl and he's getting better, but honestly you should stop today, now... before things get worse and trust me, it always can!

Gus it seems like you still have some control over yourself, despite your loses.  Honestly you sound like a good guy and I wouldn't let meth ruin you anymore than it already has.  All the people I've talked to say that meth changed them from the moment after they took their first hit.  It's a terrible psychoactive drug made from battery acid, cold medicine, and household cleaning products.  It's created by other people to steal your money away from your and ruin your life.  You don't need that. 

You seem to really want to quit and that I think is a very important step. People who know they need to quit but yet dont want to will never get anywhere. I have full confidence that you can get off this killer drug. Your family will be proud of you and I'm positive they'll be in your life just as before, if not more. Good luck and take it one step at a time.

Family and friends will always forgive. You can get your relationships with them back and even stronger because you will be a much better person once your off the drug. you can work out school and job and all of that but right now I suggest focussing on getting sober. A treatment center will probably be the best option. You'll get the help you need to safely get off the drug and help with the withdrawals which you will face. And they will also help you stay sober once your out of the center. There is no point in giving the drug that is ruining your life the pleasure of taking it. Kick its but and get it out of your system forever!
