Right now I feel like I have taken several steps backward. Some things have happened to make me want to just go and go get drunk, high, whatever.I don't know what's keeping me from doing just that. I'm just glad something is keeping me from doing just that. This forum helps. I could use your thoughts and prayers. I don't know how long I can keep from getting. All I do know drunk or using all I do know is that I don't want to go back to that behavior and that my love for my family is a big factor in helping to keep me straight. I just hope i can hold on.

I know these thoughts and behaviors sneak up on you just be strong . I don't know what you are going through but nothing is worth your sobriety, please whatever your reasons are for staying straight hang on tight to it. In my keep it simple book today it says in the action for today to list 10 things you have discovered about yourself in recovery. Maybe this will help you.
