Hello everyone. I'm new here and I just recently stopped taking Lortab, which was prescribed for pain management, mainly because I lost my health insurance coverage. I have been wanting to get off those things for a long time, but it took me losing my insurance to get me to do it, so I guess it was a blessing in disguise. I have gone through a bit of withdrawal, but I think the worst is over. I'm looking forward to getting to know others who are experiencing the same things I am.

We're glad to have you here, this cite has been a huge blessing for me.  How are you doing by the way, I know you said you've got over your cravings that's good news.

Isn't crazy how sometimes things that happen may seem like the worst things ever but somehow turn out to be the best. Losing your health insurance was probably a big blow and seems bad in so many ways but it got you to get through your addiction. My recovery came in the same way. My girlfriend the love of my life broke up with me after 10 years, and that knocked some sense into me I got sober. 4 years later we are working things out again and everything has worked out for the better.
