#1. Planning & Preparation.
Before
you give up, try setting a date and keep reminding your self of the
reasons that you want to give up. Think about how good you will feel,
how much money you will save, and all of the other positive benefits of
quitting smoking marijuana. Keep reminding yourself that the worst will
be over quite quickly and that you will feel great for doing so.
#2. Set Milestones
It
sounds stupid, but when you give up you can get an enormous boost from
reaching the milestones you set yourself. Take each day at a time and
take pride in each day that you add to your tally. Set your first big
goal at one week and celebrate your achievement. Setting goals is a
great motivator and reaching them is uplifting.
#3.Get the Ones You Love Involved
Often
the people that we love are a driving force and in many cases the very
reason that people want to quit smoking weed. Asking your loved ones to
encourage you and share your achievements is one of the strongest
driving forces in successfully battling any type of addiction.
Battling an addiction is not easy and you should consider getting expert advice in some way shape or form.
