Ryan O’Neal and Farrah Fawcett’s son, Redmond, is getting his last chance to avoid the slammer for his latest drug conviction. The 24 year old was admitted into a drug court program yesterday and if he is successful it will clear his record. This rehab program will consist of frequent drug tests and court appearances. If he isn’t successful, he will face many years in prison. I think it’s good that people are given the opportunity to become clean in rehab instead of jail. It allows them a different type of way to stay off drugs that is healthier than in prison. I hope this rehab works for him and he gets sober.

Drug court is a great way for addicts to get help with their addiction... And it's definitely a better alternative than jail time.  I hope he gets the help he needs also.
