“One in 10 college women suffer from an eating disorder, and 10 percent of those with eating disorders will die within 10 years of the onset of their illness.”  I read this statistic when I was researching literacy about eating disorders.  I can really embrace this statistic, I didn't know that the mortality rate was that high.  To me, that's a big number and it's unfortunate.  Eating disorders are usually onset because of a negative environment.. and it's such a debilitating way of living.
