Congrats!  There has been a 41% drop in Californians who smoke.  The extra 25 cents a pack must be having an impact.  Meanwhile, telephone calls to anti-smoking agencies have went up 25%.  These help programs have saved over 1 billion lives, and 87 billion dollars in health care costs over the past 2 decades.  My best friend is just quit, and hasn't smoked in 3 weeks, it's very hard for him.  But I've noticed such a change in his energy level.  He's still coughing up gunk that's been building up in his lungs for the past 7 years or so.  But just imagine all of the great things he's doing for his body by not smoking!!

I've experienced how hard it is to quit and let me tell you, it's reaaallly tough!  But definitely worth it.  I really wish I never started because even to this day, I still get cravings.
