I personally don't think so, and I also think that this question is a little ridiculous.  I think habitual pot smoking would limit your recovery outlook and progress.  And I also don't consider a person sober if they smoke pot.

This is a strange question. I personally don't think so. I have heard
of people smoking cigarettes though while going through AA, but not
weed. I think it's hard to completely stop an addiction all together so
I think sometimes people get relief by starting a new one.

And that's probably the worst way to deal with an addiction, to just replace it with another.  I've been hearing in the news about Amy Winehouse how she is sober now, but has multiple boyfriends and just replaced the drugs with sex.  That's just as bad of a behavior, and she's married!  By replacing the addiction, you're not going to deal with the deep negative feelings that led you to addiction in the first place.

Hi,
Myself Jimmy from Canada. Thanks for the sharing your experience. In an alcohol treatment center, you are taught to face your demons head
on without the convenience of a dulled mind. Not a bad idea, really.
You soon learn that there are a lot of guys who have problems like you
do, and you don't have to turn to the bottle for solace.
