Abraham Biggs was only 19 years old when he took a fatal overdose of pills in November. The whole suicide was shown live on the internet. His family was mortified to find this and find that people were actually egging him on! OH MY GOSH!! This is so disturbing to even read.

I heard about this, and you're right it's disturbing and disgusting how the people just watched and encouraged him.  I remember hearing that they were even discussing with him whether or not he took enough pills to die.. But you know there's a lot of people who like seeing others suffer, and love getting off to weird/horrible things and the Internet is the perfect place to get that stuff.

I don't have children or anything and I couldn't even imagine the pain and suffering his family went through. Suicide is so sad and to broadcast it on the internet is not only disturbing, but immature for other people to post on the internet. What good friends he had.

In Britain there was a live television broad cast of an assisted suicide..  this was aired on national television!  I was of a man who was only 55 years old, and he committed suicide while laying next to his wife.  He had some type of terminal disease and chose to end his life early.. The purpose of the show was to desensitize people so that it could become more widely accepted.  It's completed legal in Switzerland, which is where it took place.  However I don't think it desensitized people, I think it would turn more people away from the idea and strengthen the views of those who oppose it.

I don't understand whyyy he kept going to those sites and associating with those people if they were antagonizing him so badly.  I mean we've all been bullied in some stupid way before, but I would never even waste my time with anyone who was just trying to put me down..
