Today is the 75th anniversary of the end of prohibition. Most people think that ending prohibition on alcohol was a good thing and that we benefit a lot from alcohol sales, by taxes and it is usually the high light of entertainment at parties and clubs. People now just don't seem to know how to have fun without it. Well what if the same were to happen with drugs. If this whole prohibition on marijuana ended, do you think 75 years from now we would think that it was a very smart decision and that we would benefit from it as well?

I can't believe it's been 75 years since that occurred. It's sad though to see all the lives wasted from alcohol either from alcohol poisoning, car related accidents or other things caused by intoxication. It seems like people don't know how to drink in moderation and teen are easily influenced to try new things.

I think alcohol would be fine and safe to have if people drank responsibly. Except a majority of the people drink to get drunk, not to just drink. And that's very wrong. That's the reason why we have all these problems like drunk driving, alcohol poisoning all that.
