I always get addicted whenever I pick up a new book. I just cant put it down. I read it as soon as a I first open my eyes, and right before bed, during lunch, in between classes some times when I'm at a really good part I'll even read it as I'm driving. So I kind of try to stay away from books lately because I put off my homework and get an urge to call in sick to work. But I just started reading twighlight. A friend recommended it to me, I thought it sounded kind of stupid. A book about a girl falling in love with a vampire, but the movie is coming out and I thought I'd just read it so I can watch the movie too. I started reading on sunday and in one day I read 300 pages. I just cant put it down!! I'm at the library right now without the book, so that I would study. Im doing a little procrastination here, but I definitely!!!! recommend it. However I think my book addiction gets a bit out of hand sometimes. Does anyone else suffer from this?

I'm pretty good about managing my time, but I'm the same way! I think reading is so good for us! It stimulates our imagination, brings up new emotions, and it's good to get excited about new things. It also improves our grammar, along with understanding and insight about new things. BUT sometimes when I find a great book, I can't put it down either! The last good book I read is called "Marley and Me.." I recommend that book! And it's a movie too :)

I think books are healthy for us. It gets you excited, sad, happy! It gives you all these emotions which is really good. When reading a book you get lost in a whole other world and tis great because sometimes our own world gets a tad bit too boring. It's much better than watching TV but I do agree that some books get pretty addicting. And being at the point where you read and drive, or ditch school, friends, work is not good!

I love reading. I'm the type of person who would rather read a good book than watch TV. I get a better visual. But you know what I have noticed? The adults who enjoy reading also enjoyed reading as a kid. If they didn't enjoy it as a kid then they wont as an adult, they'll be like my dad who just watches a lot of TV =P. So all those people who have kids should push them to read more. Not only are they entertaining themselves, but they are learning as well. Learning about situations, sometimes medical, sometimes logical, even environmental, and their increasing their vocabulary without even realizing it. I think a book addiction is a good one! It just needs to be a tiny bit controlled.

Books are the real friend which give us the knowledge and also share the jokes and fun. I thinks reading books is not bad, this is really very good habit but do not make it as addiction. because addiction is always bad. Try to read book only in free times which is not an addiction.
