Have any of you heard about that mayor in Silverton, Oregon who was mayor twice and ran for mayor again except this time in a different form. He is now kind of a she. He got breast implants, grew out his hair and now wears makeup and woman clothing and heels! He is now the mayor again and surprisingly in this little town where everyone knows eachother, many accept him.
I heard about this on the radio and one of the girls was totally backing him up and showing her support for him and how great of a mayor he really is. She said she is absolutely sure he is not gay because he has had the same girlfriend for 35 years and everyone in the town is supporting him. Another girl called on the radio and said that’s not true that not everyone in the town is supporting him and that a majority of the town actually disapproves. I personally am a very liberal person and I don’t think anything wrong of transgender people, its their lives let them live it as they please. But I wouldn’t want my Mayor being a transsexual. What do you think?

That's a pretty crazy story.  Well, most of the town must support him if he was re-elected.  It really shouldn't matter what a person looks like, just as long as they do a good job.  It's funny to see this sort of stuff in movies.  This guy probably expects a lot of controversy over his decision tho.  I wonder why he went through with all of that, and what his own girlfriend thinks about it!

I agree his physical appearance shouldn't affect his ability to be a great mayor. But I also thing he should've postponed his surgery and new attire untill his term was over. Although people  from his town may support him, many many people from other towns and state will look down upon him because they're closed minded. And when he's mayor he doesn't just represent hisself he represents the his whole town too.
