Can anyone recommend a good book to read related to this topic? I see the ad on here for Dr. Benson's book, but I was wondering if anyone knew of something already out. Thanks in advance.

Confessions of a shopaholic, its not really about recovery but it talks about her going through her addiction and its a very good and fun book. There's also a million little pieces, go ask alice.. lots of great books!

Go Ask Alice is one of my all time favorite books. It's so extremely personal, I'm not sure if all of those events actually took place but it's all very possible. She turns into a completely different girl, some of the words just pop out at you, like something you'd never hear her say or do. The people she meets are something else too. Very good, the ending is sad but it's the reality of the book.
