Anxiety and Energy Drinks

I work at a college and lots of the vendors leave out free samples of energy drinks for students to try.  A lot of the students and workers were complaining how they couldn't sleep the night before.  I think it's best for people who already have anxiety to stay away from these drinks!  Some of them have so much caffeine already, that it could cause stress and extra anxiety for someone who is already having a hard time sleeping and coping.

Well if they're taking them in the day time I dont think it will have much affect on their sleeping habits. I'm the worst with caffeine. If I drink it after 5, even just a little bit, I wont be able to sleep at all at night. But If I drink it anytime before I'm perfectly fine and it doens't affect me at all.

I agree, if the drinks are drunk in the morning time it shouldn't affect their sleeping habits. But I know for me when I drink too much coffee or a very strong energy drink my heart starts beating rapidly and i start shaking also, so too much caffeine is definitely not good for me. So if its a very strong energy drink i should stay away from it.

They don't affect me at all! I could drink it right before bed and fall asleep in the same amount of time. It's kind of a good thing, but it sucks because nothing really wakes me up if I have homework to do or pull an all nighter.
