It's hard to resist all of the new fashions, whatever the season is.  For shoppers, any excuse is a good excuse to hit the stores, along with your check book.  It's good to plan out shopping dates, and specifically what you need or don't need.  Think about whether what you're buying is actually practical and a good buy.  I plan to shop smart this season, so that I'm not wasting my time on something that will be completely useless next year. 

Changing seasons is a big excuse my wife uses to go shop.  And she ends up with a bunch of impractical clothes like jackets and scarves, and then she's sick of them by the next year. 

I love shopping for the new seasons, it gets me excited! all those new clothes, new styles I just imagine myself in all those wonderful clothes and get happy. But I spend waaay too much. And I dont like buying cheap stuff either. But I wasn't goint to write about myself. I actually have a friend who buyys summer clothes at the start of winter and winter clothes at the start of summer. She says its cheaper that way and the stuff she finds are very cute. Do any of you do this? I dont because I get worried that the stuff that I buy will be out of style by the time the season comes back around.

Hi new here, by the way I don't think I'd be able to do that either, with the buy clothes for the next year.  I like to wear new things the next day, or at least by the next week!  I can't stand having clothes in my closet with the tags still on them!

I'm the same way. Even if the things I bought need hemming or something I'll still want to wear them right away. The bottoms are going to get cut off anyway who cares if I ruin them. But I just can't stand having new clothes that have not been worn in my closet, i want to wear them right away. Which is also another reason why I dont just go out and buy a big lump of clothes. I buy a few at a time, wear them then go for the next few.
